Us versus the Ref for the first half then the Rooney show as is customary around these parts.
Georgie looks amazing when he's up for it and when he gets the passes. Hope Shelvey can provide some more of those.
I thought we played some fantastic one-touch stuff with belief it would come off, for once.

McLaren said it feels like a win..... yet we played so well and got a draw but looking at Sunderland and Villas result was it really a win? We slipped a place to 19th... Is our luck going to change in the second half of the year?

Cannot make McLaren out tbh, every interview he is the same smiling away even if we just got trashed.

Good result, good performance.

Shelvey looks a bit of a player, the pass leading up to the second goal? Wow.

Also credit to Billic. It's rare to hear any manager say they were better and deserved it. A nice change from the usual bleating.

Onward and upwards. Watford away next and then Everton, we need to garner more points next week as I can't see us getting much from Merseyside.

Wow... 16 games to go and we just don't seem to be improving on the teams above us. If we don't put a run together very soon (which seems unlikely for many teams) my gut feeling is we are going down. Any one else thinking the same?

If he keeps playing Gouffran, then yes.

I really don't see the sense in playing a friendly with sunderland behind closed doors this weekend, who dreamed up this madness? One misplaced tackle by either side could see key players injured when both teams need everyone fit and playing in the hope of pulling off survival.

I don't know, it could come down to them or us at the end of the season.

I say we ask Tiote to cripple Defoe before he leaves.....

Andros Townsend signed for £12m. Looks like another decent purchase and may give us some width.

Lots of energy but not much end product and massively overpriced simply because he's English, if he was French we'd be paying about £2m for him.

However, I hope he proves me wrong.

Will McClaren keep his job no matter what? i.e. if they get relegated? He has had 22 games to demonstrate his ability yet we are still in the bottom 3. at what point does the owner say thanks but good bye? Because if McClaren does take us down he will not bring us back up....

Well we spent some money however we have to wait and see what the end result brings.
What I find strange is we play well against the big teams and play badly against the smaller teams, its as if they think the smaller teams are going to be a walkover so they do not give 100%.
