I saw McClaren's post match interview last night and in all seriousness he looked terrible. He's aged about 15 years in the last couple of months, it looks like the job is taking its toll on him.
Yes reckon the bloke has taken more than he can chew.Do not like him as a manager but he seems a good guy, feel a bit sorry for him.
To be honest I think any manager they bring will struggle until the owner is gone, I think the core is rotten.

I hear this said all the time, but what does it actually mean. I know people don't like Ashley, but fair play he's put his hand in his pocket during this last transfer window, he's brought in managers who have a solid reputation, but who fail to deliver with the payers available. So what's rotten, the manager, the board, the owner, the playing staff, and are Newcastle problems any different to our neighbours, or indeed any other bottom-half team? TX1 said:

Never seen such a one sided game finish with only 1 goal. Should have had 5 or 6. Finishing is our problem, hopefully Doumbia can weigh in with a few in the run-in! Cisse might even get fit and stay onside for a couple with the amount of chances we made. Lets now see if they can take that away from home and put in a performance.
Totally agree, some good stuff yesterday, should really have been more comfortable.
Never mind trying to move Tiote on in the last window Sissoko is either world class or utter dross. If he doesn't feel interested he's a liability not an asset.
We're still not out of the mire though. Still some tough games to come. Leicester away anyone?!

I'm happier than most to take the Mick out of the great unwashed, but let's not start trying to tar them all with that badge.
One evil sick twisted git is just that. No more no less. Here's hoping he gets all the consequences of his vile behaviour.
We don't want to be dragged down to their level after all. I, for one, have never punched a horse by way of example.

The club itself deserves plenty of stick (not the fans), they must have known he was due to plead guilty and yet have continued to employ him.
