There is no hardly about it, it is a fact. He started the season with Real Madrid and playing in the Champions League and is ending it by taking your lot down to The Championship.

In fairness, I don't think he had enough time, you stuck with that McClaren for too long.

Too right we did. I think Rafa and the goalies are the only ones who can hold their head high. Atmosphere at SJP on Sunday will be interesting!

It's not all bad news, we'll probably get Ameobi and Thauvin back!

I'm more upset that we've gone down as a result of the unwashed and the bulldog. A match made in heaven I'm sure they'll be scrapping around at the bottom again next year. Karma would be to see SAFC relegated just as we're on our way back up again.

Looking forward to regular wins next year and a title tilt.

Sunderland have spent more days in the relegation zone this season than any team - including Villa !

In some ways next season could be quite enjoyable, certainly I enjoyed our last season in the championship more than any season we've had in the premiership since the SBR days.

It's really quite nice not to lose every week.

Unfortunately, it's quite likely it wont be anything like last time.

Villa fan, genuinely sorry to see you go down with us; there were clubs I would really have preferred this to happen to; hope it's a double bounce back up next season..

We've had very little to do with you going down apart from taking points off you even then we let you off with a draw at the Cathedral on the Hill biggrin
You're a bit upset and are not thinking straight I hope you're not near any horses or phone boxes or Steve Wraith funeral services. hehe
