Another inspiring performance today I see. At least we didn't get a hammering again.

I hope that the club gets a shock next season with attendance figures. They need a massive wake up call that they can't just keep on churning mediocrity out for a club with 52000 fans a week. We should be challenging for something year on year instead of continually waiting for the early cup knockouts and a season which either never gets going or finishes way too early.

Another garbage result.

Sadly, not a surprise.

No application, no talent, no balls and no ambition.

Pathetic excuse of a club and an insult to the 50,000 who turn up week in week out.

Pardew said he would have stopped the winning goal if he was in the dugout.
The man is a bloody idiot.

Please please please sack him.

Did he mean the penalty or the cockup of the defense that lead to the penalty ?

Utterly fking garbage.

If the players take the bonus money on offer for finishing tenth they really should have a look at themselves in the mirror.

The whole lot of 'em can do one as far as I'm concerned.

Pardew, time to go pal, and they say Moyles lost the dressing room?

Newcastle have been a disgrace for the last 10 games or so. All the teams below them play with more pride.

I'm struggling to understand HOW you are in the top half?

Pardew is a pathetic excuse for a manager. Should have been dismissed after the Hull incident ...

We are where we are based on our pre-christmas form.

Saw a stat last night that's quite telling. In the 7 years before fat cashley we failed to score 50 points in a prem season once. In the 7 years since we've only managed over 50 points once.

As much as this is banded about, I refuse to believe that our team hinged on one player.

Our current state is down to numerous points; Cabaye sale, poor strikers, poor tactics, injuries, no pressure on places, no youth opportunities, no aspiration from the club etc.

The Cabaye sale has just exposed another weakness, rather than being the main reason for our sudden turn.

We've reached the tipping point people and the future looks very bleak...

We require some serious investment, in money and in quality. We can throw £20 million at the squad, but it will be wasted unless we bring in exactly the right players. Pardew does not have a clue what the right players are.

Until January I was reasonably 'pro-Pardew'; but the last ten games have shown him up for the tactically retarded manager he really is. I wouldn't even mind so much if he decided that we're safe and likely to get a top 10 finish, so I'm just going to give the youth team a decent run; but he isn't even doing that.

We have some good kids coming through the ranks, but they will suffer if left to Pardew to develop. You only need to look at Mehdi Abeid; played 2/3 games for Newcastle, deemed not good enough and sent on loan. He's currently playing for Panathinaikos, where he has 34 appearances and 8 goals, he's a midfielder! Why is he not back at Newcastle, fighting to replace Cabaye?!!

Armstrong? That kids has played about 30 minutes of first team football all season. Campbell? On loan, not at NUFC fighting for a first team place.

Pardew needs to go and a better manager brought it. I'd love Moyes, but would accept anyone at the minute....

Swear down we would be sinking to championship if it were not for the points early in season.

Remi will go. Then we are truly fked...buying more no mark players from France. Ben Arfa never tracks back and is happy to sit on the bench. The last 10 games have been terrible...

Pardeu can do one. I would rather have Moyes!

Having seen them play countless times. Ben Arfa truly is a frustrating prospect.

Brilliant when he wants to be, but he NEVER tracks back. Thats states a lot to me. Not only that but warming the bench is what he enjoys.

if he wanted a first team starting place bad enough I am sure he could get one! So what gives?

Pardew's days are numbered... and I think Moyes will be in charge next season. Not a bad thing as I think a team of Newcastle's stature is his level and he'd do a good job, I would prefer Steve Bruce though...

The team needs a mega overhaul. There's nothing to play for (other than a bit of pride) so I don't see why he couldn't stick a few kids in and give them some Premiership game time or at least give some fringe players game time. Still wondering what is going on with players like Marveaux? Looks a real talent but sits on the bench, if that and Ben Arfa has clearly annoyed somebody.
