I think we must look to finish above Man Utd, we've never done it in the PL and it seems to be something in the cosmos stopping us doing so as last year they were bad, this year they're awful yet it seems they still pick up enough points. You only need to see their GD to see how far away from other teams around them they are.

I agree with Ellroy, we aren't consistent enough to pass Spurs. The game at Old Trafford might define our season.

Agreed. I would take a draw right now... Think we will do better in our remaining fixtures...

Seems the suggested cap on costs would make us a bit of a threat sooner rather than later according to the chronicle.

Funny that the really ‘wealthy’ clubs aren’t happy but surely, taking a wider view, a more competitive league has to be needed in the longer term? Dull product equals reducing interest is my view. I’m not sure if this a perfect answer for the finance issues of the league but it does sound like a step in the right direction.

Pope and Joe ready for comebacks

It's one in one out at the moment. Must have Eddie banging his head against the wall.

Great afternoon so far.

Both strikers on the sheet and sounding like we're in a great rhythm.

After the first goal we were totally in charge, nice to see some players back.

But shaky like every away game to start but the team is loaded with goals from anywhere on a day like today. Hoping Palace take points on Monday night

A good win but I’m a bit surprised at Burnley tbh. They’ve been a decent run of form but folded really easily.

Every point matters. Let’s hope Palace are still up for it come Monday.

I think the Palace front 3 are going to be hard for Man Utd to deal with.

They already concede a load of chances, so can't see Palace not scoring.

I am the world's biggest Palace fan tomorrow.

Back to us... Get in! Just what the doctor ordered. Big performances required for the next 2! HWTL

And klippy Klops mob tomorrow too.

Edit:
A chance to watch the highlights again;
Great to see Isak & Wilson double striker working. Always thought it would be good but when Eddie tried it in the past it somehow didn't prove successful.
Murphy instrumental in all the goals, quick and in position. Often under rated he did well today. Lewis Hall seemed to have a strong game as did Tino, in fact the back 4 looked solid most of the time. I'd like to see a 100 yard sprint Gordon v Tino v Murphy....., Bruno pivotal of course. Good to see Big Joe back on the pitch too
We've actually got some strength in depth when everyone is fit. Barnes there too.

Saw a few mins of the Oxford match on TV - got quite a shock, thought we'd sold Jacob Murphy! His twin brother, identical even down to the number 23.

We fielded 8 British players yesterday to Burnley's one. While I applaud Isak, Bruno, Dubs, Big Joe, it's nice to keep it local sometimes.

Can we make 5th? It's possible, who'd have thought that in January when people were baying for Eddie's blood!

Howay the lads.

Watched the extended highlights today. That opening goal is a thing of beauty. From back to front in one sweeping move. Tinos spin to get free was glorious.

I thought both he and Hall looked really composed and sharp. Hall especially - his switch of play to Wilson in the build up to the second was beautifully done.

We just looked on it from the moment we scored.

Until Ritchie came on mind...rofl

Klippity’s lot are getting a bit of help from Spurs who’re just being Spursy.

Great result there, Chelsea becoming something of a worry though.

Here's hoping Joelinton has come back in the nick of time.
