This is a friendly match a week before the World Cup, and Sterling could have taken Valencia out of the whole completition with that tackle, so no wonder he was incensed. Stupid to react like that but sterling missed the ball and took the man.

Exactly what I was thinking. Probably would have been best to yellow both or do nothing.
