bodhi said: How to prove you know f k all about football in one post ladies and gentlemen. Yeah ok then... Let me guess, you've won 8 World cups, managed Man Utd AND been to watch over 15,000 matches live? Go on then fella, explain to me how Terry has been playing well recently, and I'll send you some links to the highlights of a few of Terry's recent games for Chelsea, misjudging long balls seems to be a abit of a speciality recently, letting it bounce in front of him and over his head, cost Chelsea 2 goals in the last few weeks. Even last night, he tried to head the ball out the box at one point, and it flew past his head, didnt even make contact.

So...according to Harry Rednapp...Spurs may be supplying 8 players for Capello's World Cup squad. Even as a spud thats at least 3 more than deserve to go to be honest.
I mean...Jenas? Bentley? Huddlestone?

I'm wondering if Defoe should go, King and Awesome Dawson must go.

He'll choose experience (King) or less prone to injury (Dawson), not both IMO, although if it was me i'd take both and leave out Upson.
Defoe should go, as Hansen said, defenders hate pacey attackers. If we're losing a game, having Lennon, Walcott and Defoe on the field would be an enticing proposition.

I'd take King and Dawson, but I'd probably bin Ferdinand. King, because he has the presence to do it on a big stage and has played more games than Rio this season. I'd prefer Ledley to be there in a nail biter of a match and if he could be there with Dawson, well they have played very well together. I'd take, and play, Dawson. He has a high work rate, responds to good players around him and can do the job for England. No team with Jenas playing will EVER win anything so I wouldn't take him, Huddleston, I'm a BIG fan but can't make my mind up and Bentley....no, not the best option in that position. Just my two pennies worth of insight. Mind you, I know f k all about being a football manager.

I mean...Jenas? Bentley? Huddlestone? I'd take Tom. I'm struggling to see a reason NOT to take Ledley. If England have a better central defender I'd love to know who he is. The ONLY caveat is his fitness, but to be honest I think even we Spuds hype that up out of proportion. He is, along with Terry, the calmest under pressure. I'd like to imagine that he doesn't have the pace, but that's not true either. I think we all make too much out of his knee condition.

Ferg said: I'd take Tom. I just think he's to much of a luxury player. Good on his day but England need people who can battle it out consistently for possibly 6 matches over a very short space of time. I've never seen the Hudd have more than 2 good games back-to-back.
