Well we've got to enjoy it while it lasts and hopefully it'll last a few years.
I tried to make a few serious points about the path they're headed down, but they don't want to talk about it.

So I think I'll just hang around, occasionally pointing and laughing.

"Theres only one Roy Keane" got it's first tentative airing in the Barclay on Saturday. It could become an all time classic.

Watch this space!

Hee hee, reading this has been funny.

I can promise you that RK will never be a good manager. There is only one way, and it his way. And unfortunately it is the wrong way. Getting us out of the Championship (lifelong SAFC fan & recent ex-shareholder here) was more down to the others around him (Ricky Sbragia for one) than anything he said or did.

Was rather funny walking past him in Thorpeness on August bank holiday - he looked like he recognised me but couldn't place me.

Great player, abysmal manager. No communication skills whatsoever.

I'd agree with that.

I chatted to my mate about it a couple of days ago and he claims that all Keano does is shout at the players and doesn't often turn up to training. He then turns up on match day, shouts some more and intimidates them.

It isn't working.

We wrongly based our expectations on his performance at Sunderland and their turnaround the year they went up.

The problem is, he's got his dander up after the Sunderland 'walking out' fiasco and seems determined to grip onto the job to prove he can turn things around. How long though? Soon it will be too late.

Who to replace him though?

I want Curbs.

Oh come on you know you who your next manager will be, poor old Gunny has been seen since having made his own way back from Exeter.

Still Jim is doing ok at QPR but Burleigh is on the lookout if poor old Gunny doesn’t take your fancy.

I’m not sure I could wish The Rodent on my worst enemy........................ Oh hang on a minute

Roeder would be beyond my wildest dreams.
Not gonna happen though.

You have your Roeder at the moment....minus the tactical knowledge.

Well in case you hadn't noticed, thats another game without a win. 13 in the league now isn't it?

6 points and over a quarter of the season gone. If that isn't relegation form then what is?

Glad you got a point though. It will buy Mad Roy a little more time. If he can make it to January and waste more of your cash on rubbish then it's all good.

There's only one Roy Keane!

Teacher to class: "What does your dad do at weekends?".

Lttle girl: "He's a dancer in a gay bar and sometimes if the money's right he lets punters bang his arse and cum in his gob".

Teacher takes him outside, "Is that true?".

Lttle girl: "No miss, it's bks. He supports Ipswich but I'm too embarrassed to say".

There's only one Keano!

Led the game from the 5th to the 94th minute. Then Mad Roy tactical genius (tm) does it again.

That's got to hurt. smile

F***ing beautiful!

To add insult to injury, apparently Keane was nicked for speeding on the A12 on his way home.
He'll do anything for 3 points...

(badooom-tish, thanks very much, I'm here all season)

Unfortunately so was the result.

One more game.

Although listening on the radio last night we sounded pretty good, encouraging signs last few games, but results matter.

Southgate as manager?

Gutted isn't the word. Last bloody kick of the game, again.

Despite what Dick-so-Dull says, this (and many of the other faults) cannot be laid at the managers door, but fall squarely at the feet of the players.

To claim this was Keanes fault due to 'tactics' is misguided, petty and wrong.

ETA: Southgate? Dunno. Can't see him changing things.

Agree completely, if they're playing well, but a) not putting it in the net b) conceding late goals then the manager can't do a lot. Or, perhaps it is his fault as he's got players switching off at the wrong moments. Does seem to be a team thing, no one individual consistently making mistakes.

I'm happy to stick with him, but how much longer for? I can't believe we'd be in this situation with Magilton, or a whole host of other managers.

Southgate was a bit tongue in cheek, although given different surroundings I think he'd do okay. He suffered from being a team-mate to being the boss IMO, always a difficult transition to manage.
