Yeah...it was tense in the first half.......it's the expectancy I think.
Dare we dream? Dunno......all we can do it look after our own results.....
So far this weekend has been excellent......
Us taking a step closer to the playoffs......the dump up the A140 taking a step closer to relegation......
Now for Elbow live on Monday night!
COYB!

Today is the big one, a chance to put ourselves ahead of Bournemouth in the running and make it one of four for 6th, Brighton and Reading have easy games, could do with Leeds doing us a favour (unlikely).
Still all to play for, unbelievably! (could all change today of course) and i'm not that confident about beating Bournemouth.

Not a bad result against an in form team I suppose.
Still trying to keep some perspective here, given our budget and what is still a relatively new squad that's been built.
Burnley is massive. I can't see us winning there, they'll be on a massive high and it's their last home game, all this talk of a 'Leicester Hangover' is bks, Burnley were the best team to visit Portman Road this year, so barring another set of freak results, I think we're more of less out of the running, especially with goal difference being against us now too.

It's been a excellent season. To know that where ever we go or whoever comes to PR we can compete and get a result.
I was a little disappointed with Saturday's performance (watched on telly) but only because I thought we would've gone gung-ho. We had more of the play and, IMO, looked the better side but just didn't create enough clear-cut chances.
I'll be there Saturday (should land at Heathrow 07:30) to show my appreciation to the team for the hard work and effort that they've put in this season.
Roll on next season and the "Old Farm" derbys!

Also, I'm now a fan of fulham, Sunderland & Cardiff for the remaining season
You don't have to be, I think our goose (... budgie ) is already cooked, too many of our 'senior' players are already looking for their meal ticket out for next season. There is lots of gung-ho chatter on some of the Norwich forums about us going after Mad Mick for permanent manager next season, it's never going to happen but it would really spice things up if it did (.... I wen to Col U when Lambert went back- that was a fun day). Seriously though, MM has done a fantastic job there (... we could do a lot worse ). With the obvious upheaval in playing staff (and probably CEO), I am already resigned to mid table Champs at best next season, the likes of Blackburn and Blackpool are testament to how tricky it is after relegation. I fear you guys may have the upper hand again for a little while- we'll let you have one season max!
Let's get this back up and running.
So.
Cressy out, £3m in, presumably will be used to cover wage gaps. Presumably, something like £20k a week for the next couple of years covered with some smart budgeting.
A 0-0 draw with the Hammers last night, not much gleaned, nothing to shout about and still lots of guessing as to what back four will line up on the first game.
Will Chambers retain that RB slot? Really uncertain about that, I think he's good enough, as he provides that quality when defending set pieces.
Still looking forward to the season, will be tough again though, pretty sure we'll be in with a shout of the playoffs again, perhaps just falling short...again.
McGoldrick getting fit and scoring is essential.

Money talks and unfortunately, Norwich have bucket loads of the stuff.
They'll be in contention come end of the season, i'm sure of it.
Looking at the odds, most have us around mid way, as you'd probably expect.
Cardiff, Derby, Wigan, Fulham, Norwich being strong contenders, Reading, Brighton and Forest being close.
They're putting us amongst the likes of Bolton, Blackburn, 'Boro, Wolves and Bournemouth.
Just shows how difficult the task will be to break into that top 6. Still, let's hope for another small step of progress and hope we can be in with a shout of a top 6 spot with a few games remaining.

Last pre season game today. We go into it unbeaten so far and having only conceded 1 goal. Promising.
A few good additions in the run up. I'm not expecting to be league winners but I'd like to see another step forward from last year. If we could hit the playoffs this year I'd be happy.
