One of those games, form out the window.
Them celebrating drawing like an FA Cup final win.
Ipswich fans disappointed but pragmatic about watching a team far superior in all aspects.
Shame we didn't shut them up, but we must forget about that and treat it as 'just another game' and move on quicky.
Other than the result, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Agree, it's another game unbeaten, another point on the board and we maintain a solid gap to 3rd. We'll stuff them at some point but right now keeping points coming is what we need.Them celebrating drawing like an FA Cup final win.

Massimo has announced retirement from International football.
That could not be any better timed, was really worried about losing him to the Asia Cup in January, would have been a huge miss, him as Morsy, whilst not the biggest or fastest, just use the ball so well as a pairing.
Massive boost.
If we could get Stansfield in too....that's a big move for us, similar attributes to Hirst, but not as physical, but better running with the ball, nice to be able to interchange those two up top, both great at doing the selfless running too so not too much to change.
Lots to look forward to, long season though....still happy to be mixing it with the Parachute clubs.

Huge game today. I'd take a point as it denies Leeds 3 and keeps the gap as is, a win would be a bonus.
I thought we (Leeds) were much the better team today and didn't think 4-0 flattered us - if anything it could have been more. Might be you just had a bad day at the office but for me that was our probably best performance of the season so maybe you played as well as you were allowed to?Regardless, it's only 3 points and you'll still have a cushion going into the New Year. But if you'd won today we'd have been 13 behind and I really doubt we'd have been able to make that up; 7 points with half the season left feels more achievable but you're still on course for over 90 points which normally would be easily good enough for an automatic promotion place. Will be interesting to see how you react to today when you play Leicester on Boxing Day - if you win that and we mess up against Preston (far from impossible!) it will be back to where we were before we started today!

Overall a good performance against possibly the best team the Championship has ever seen - although somewhat lucky (two deflections on the goal, looked a stonewall penalty and Harness lucky not to be sent off).
Hopefully Hirst’s injury isn’t too bad - the drop off from him to Ladapo/Jackson in terms of how we play is fairly significant.

I think Leicester are away and gone.
3 horse race between us, Leeds and Southampton.
Leeds must be a hard team to support... give us a lesson and then lose to Preston.
Southampton seem to be on a good run.
Realistically it's us against the parachute teams.
I've had my heart broken too many times in the play offs to want that again.
We need a couple of wins from our next 2 games.

Good to get back to winning ways yesterday. Liked the look of Travis on debut, slotted in well and went some way to offset the loss of Morsy - no easy task.
Stating the obvious, but we really need a striker. Sadly, they are not easy to find, and even harder to find within our price range.

Yep agree with all of that. I was at Portman Rd for the Sunderland match, great to see them confidently coming back from a goal down at home. Managed to see a few this season with my son now being an avid fan. Stating the obvious, but we really need a striker. I won't bother listening but it'll be typical Talksport. You're doing the best out of any Championship teams with the tools you have IMO, I personally think you'll finish 3rd, but I do hope you win the POs. Next 6 games are massive, if we can get 14 or more points I think we'll be about up.

It's a cracker....We have someone similar who calls the local radio and is just bat shizzle crazy.
We're doing brilliantly all things considered, still really happy with how we're doing, I think you're right, but also think Leeds will join the Saints and overtake us, we don't have enough strength in depth.
That being said....we're capable of beating anyone and if we can keep in touch with a few games to go...who knows
Leicester got the league sewn up though.

Being dumped out of the cup is neither here not there given we're trying for promotion. Losing to a side 99 places below is bloody embarassing!
As an ex Maidstone Utd fan, I think this has to be their greatest ever victory, it reminded me of the 3 match FA Cup tie they had against Gillingham in 1980, where they went on to beat the Gills 2-0 at Gillingham.andyA700 said:
