COYB!

Williams back. Interesting combos available up front now, especially as we've played 3 up top a couple of times. Murphy/Sammon with Williams and McGoldrick behind is exciting.

The prospect of having Bishop behind Williams and McGoldrick really gets my juices flowing lol!

Wednesday Tuesday. Tough away game. Forest Saturday is the biggie, proper marker of intent against a top side away from home.

Indeed. Exciting times!! We even hit the dizzy heights of 4th after the game on Saturday. Team spirit is at an all time high it would appear and we've got some great players coming to us. The return of JW is a big catch for us.

There's superb cover in all areas now, Sammon and Williams (and Banjer) mean we've got a bit of cover up front, with enough quality to still compete should the M&M partnership get injured. Won't set the world alight, but will hopefully be enough to keep us in the hunt at all times.

Midfield is awash with options.

To step back a year and think we'd have Ambrose and Collison on the bench is unthinkable. Skuse is improving and getting back to the form he showed early on too.

I like Bru, he 'looks' the part, tidy on the ball, gets his head up, I think we'll see more from him through the season.

Then we've got Stewart to come back, him and Henshall chasing a game in a 4-4-2 would be exciting!

I'm remaining grounded, but I'm truly believe we can be right in the mix for the top 6, not just chasing it.

Someone's tightened the wheel nuts (our feathered friends seem to have forgotten)

Long way to go still.

Mind you, we've taken points off teams above us, not done that for a while. Narrow points lost to Forest and Blackburn (Huddersfield thoroughly deserved their draw...probably more).

Bru looks the part, 2-1 win over Wolves with Williams, Bishop, Parr, Skuse and Gerken all out.

I really fancy us this year for a place in that top 6.

Four points off last season. This squad/team is FAR better than that one and certainly worth more than 4 points.

Real feel good factor at the moment, even when we were 10th I was more than happy with how things are going.

3 points on Saturday are almost a non-certainty, Watford always dick us over. Never mind.

Mick obviously got an exorcist in to banish the demon Hornets!

Gutted for Williams, poor lad got kicked about. Bru looks a tidy player!

Oh my word. Heady times.

The mick and terry show is certainly starting to impress this year.

Good times are coming back. We are now able to mix it with the best teams again rather than caving in.

There is a good feeling around the club and morale is high. You can see it in the team when they come off the pitch and MM greets every single one.

Memories of the dark lord are fading now whilst he creates his merry havoc elsewhere.

Also, good to see our 'promotion worthy' (chortle) neighbours doing so well, despite the millions they have spent compared to the peanuts MM has spent.

Can't wait for next Saturday.
First time to see them live since the prince of darkness arrived.

Wow. Beyond expectations at the moment.

Dug in deep at Charlton who were unbeaten at home to grind out a result. Those are the ones that matter. Other results also went our way a bit but nothing less than we deserve.

I'm sorting tickets for the Middlesbrough game as I type.

Could this finally be our year? I fking hope so!

Only 25 games to go!

My cousin went, came back and said it was absolutely mental, best away day he'd had for years.

Long, long way to go, but I'm loving it whilst it lasts.

No Hyam, Bru, Bishop or Berra in that game either!

Another tough one tomorrow. Mind you, aren't they all in this league!? Leeds are a bit hit and miss so I could see us stumbling or winning handsomely.

I've got my tickets for the Middlesbrough match. This could be a real sign of our ability to stay top 2. All the talk now is of 'the playoffs at the very least' which is good and positive. This is a lovely position to be after the nervy season of 2 years ago.

Looking down, I can't even see the Canaries, which is nice. hehe

Stumbled for 2 minutes then totally dominated. Awesome performance.

We looked like scoring every time we went forward.

Roll on the next games.

Hunt and Hyam out for this weekends trip to Bolton. Should have plenty of cover though.

Now each game seems winnable, but I'm happy to pick up draws away from home as long as we are winning at home.

Nearly half way and we are looking pretty good. Hopefully we can keep it going.

Really looking forward to the Middlesbrough match, it's gonna be huge.

Hopefully Derby and those around us will slip up soon.

So strange having the feeling that you can go into any game and pick a win.

I'm not saying we will get something against Bolton, they're not the team they were at the start of the season, so tough ask to go there now and win, but we certainly look capable.

The next 4 games WILL show us exactly where we are in the grand scheme of things. 'Boro and Brentford are massive games.
