Wow. Just wow. Played wonderfully today. Made them look ordinary.

Considering 9 of the starting 11 were the same that lost against the canaries this season we look like a totally different Team. Full of confidence, quality and fight.

At no point did they look like scoring today and we threatened very time we went forward.

Top 2 at Xmas.

Great times.

Just watched the highlights on BBC2, going forward we looked excellent, Jay Tabb had no right to win the header for the second goal. Still the odd defensive faux pas but look generally solid with quality in the mix. Great interview with MM afterwards, all matter of fact, calm, no excitement- just get on with the job.

Next game will be tough, I've been watching Brentford a bit this season and they're very well organised with plenty of firepower. Town need to use all of their muscle and make the attacking quality count, pitch is very narrow which may not favour the blues.

Immense performance today. Anyone know when we can see the highlights? No FL show tonight...

Goal highlights on Vine ITFCAcademy Twitter account.

I know a lot of people hate Twitter, but use it for what it was originally intended and it's superb.

Anyway, another massive game negotiated successfully! Unbelievable. Wonder what will happen January? I can see us needing a striker as cover. Would think Williams for the remainder of the season would still be a target.

Mings 'may' go, but we've looked solid without him anyway.

Feel giddy with all this optimism.

See you at home for Charlton! COYB

Excellent result, haven't seen the highlights but that's a great away achievement.

I think the biggest risk going into 2015 is the manager, can we keep him now the premiership sackings have begun..

MM won't go anywhere. He's loyal and from what I hear, he's well remunerated at ITFC in any case.

Some interesting games coming up until the end of January.

Charlton (H) 12th
Derby (H) 3rd
Millwall (A) 21st
Brighton (A) 23rd
Wigan (H) 22nd

Managerial changes could make those last 3 completely different prospects, as could additions and changes in their squads in the January window.

Derby at home is a massive one. Win that and I'll be giddy, but someone has to beat us at home sooner or later, perhaps Charlton in a couple of days! Hope not! I do fear it's coming though.

We've taken a point off Bournemouth, three from Brentford, 'Boro and Watford.

I'm just in a bloody wonderland at the moment, patiently waiting for the bubble to burst and praying that it doesn't.

It's been fun so far though!

It's weird isn't it? while we are on a run like this and confidence is so high, I just want to get to the next game and see the run continue.

Each season there seems to be one or two teams who 'click' and become the feared teams. We seem to be in that enviable position right now. Long may it continue.

It won't be long and we'll be looking for somewhere to put another bronze statue outside Portman road!!!

A good result against Derby and we should be looking at 3 wins against the 3 strugglers?

Great win last night, performance wasn't amazing, but good. McGoldrick hit the post twice and the bar once before he scored, could see how much that goal meant to him.

We defended so well, Berra was immense, not that we were under a lot of pressure, simply because he's just 'there'.

Mention to Skuse, really does do a superb job, Bishop looks tidy.

Highest attendance in 4 years last night.

Every game is now a massive game as we have everything to play for. Derby is going to be critical as it will either put us 5 points clear of them or 1 behind. A win could see us breaking clear of the pack.

Saying that, having a 10 point cushion to 7th place at this point is nice.

Just making the playoffs this year will be a step forward, but an automatic promotion spot would be the stuff dreams are made of.

Being on Derby!

Can't really as midweek. Doing Derby though. MASSIVE MASSIVE game.

Anyway, yesterday was another good performance. Shows that we are getting to the point where we can mix it with the big boys. The saints didn't put out a weakened team. Yes, they dominated the second half, but our organisation pulled us through.

A point away to Southampton would be a massive feather in our caps next year.

Bring on the rest of the season and life in the premiership. Hopefully.

Fair play to your guys yesterday, and all your fans who gave it everything! Good defensively, well organised and showed a decent counter-attacking play or two. If B'mth weren't surprising everybody, you'd be top on merit. I think we had quite a few tired legs ourselves (not to mention JWP acting as a fullback, which allowed your man the goal!) but it was far from a weakened side on our part. Your no.6 (no idea who he is) was literally cleaning up everything!

Now be good chaps and don't take the edge off our season at your gaff!

I was hoping one of us would lose at the end, a replay is a nightmare for both of us, but nice to see two teams take it seriously.

Berra is our number 6. He's been phenomenal for us again this year.

Not sure how both teams with approach next Wed, might get a ticket.....

Probably more of a nightmare for you, during a promotion push and all that. We don't have much to lose; Europe would be brilliant, but we don't have the squad for it so next season we'd lose the momentum we've (surprisingly) gained. If anything, now is a good time to go for the silverware for us, but no team needs a replay.

Replay being shown live on the Beeb.

In other news: big Frank has been released.
