When they missed their pen, I said to my mate that we'll go on and win this now. Proud to be a Hammer today.

CL at the OS would be amazing, but I highly doubt we would qualify if we finished 4th. Give me the FA Cup please, I still haven't properly gotten over Cardiff, that was a tough journey home.

laugh first post after 69 months! Welcome!

And Rich, it's only top 3 that qualify for the group stages, 4th place goes in to a play-off game to qualify.

- remember that the semi was 'boro at Villa Park though and we won 1-0 courtesy of Mighty Marlon Harewood.
Indeed, same day that my daughter ran her first London Marathon!
I sulked on the train all the way back to Paddington laugh

Edit - whoops I read that as the final day for some reason!

I was tempted to run that day as a mate and me walked back into brum through a large Estate near the ground after the game - not the best route back for a pair of Irons with hindsight.
It's a fair old trek from Villa Park to Snow Hill station!

He'll be there next season don't worry . We're not a selling club anymore...... And he'll be threading it through to Slatan.
Now that definitely won't be happening - that bloke's on something like £300k per week @ PSG
Can we not dream?

Lets just say I heard it a few months ago from the same place that gave me the Moses heads up so early.... however, he also had me minutes away from putting my house on Kevin Nolan being the next Bolton manager... until he went to Orient!

The Slatan thing makes more sense the more you look at it..
Likes being a big fish in small pond.
London.
Being the figurehead big name money move for the OS will appeal to his ego.
Generally against the transfer policy of the big name clubs to sign a 34 year old ( I appreciate it's not our policy either).. and not guaranteed a start at City, Manure etc
sjc, I completely agree - although I'd imagine we'd need to qualify for the CL which is a very tall order! Never know though!

As I split my life between London/Sweden it would be quite amusing for me. At the moment PSG are the commercial partner of several Swedish brands, I’d love to see a West Ham badge on my frozen microwave pizza laugh

£300k a week! Would that make him the best paid player in the Prem? A fair old roll of the dice if anyone does go in for him. He is an amazing player but I don't think many would pay that for him!

Which confirms that the red card was so wrong in the first place and probably cost us 2 points.
Obviously this sort of thing happens to all teams, although we are top of the league for refereeing errors, but surely where there are £zillions involved there must be a better way of doing things?
I've always defended referees but this season has been such a joke that it is more than bad luck, it is a definite training issue that needs to be addressed.

If the day ends with a Y we are not getting any decisions from officials this season. What a joke.

Can't really moan, we were quite staid for a very long period and we didn't get going until towards the end. Was Kouyate offside? Haven't seen it yet but he looked fairly on to me. Left UP feeling a little empty tonight frown

Afraid so, well off-side. frown
Just seen it, no complaints. My only complaint is how long it took us to properly get going and that Valencia left his shooting boots at home. Fair play to Utd, they came and played some nice stuff and I think they deserved the win.

Plus I got quote of the year from the guy next to me when Noble picked that Utd player up laugh

Antonio made me nervous a few times last night, he nearly got caught out once either side of giving the ball away for their first. Saying that, he still had a lot to do to finish it.
