Park next door to the stadium, pint in the bar,sit where you like,no queues for piss ( important at my age!) marvel at how 40 odd real football fans have travelled 300 miles or more to watch their mid table div' 2 team take on another mid table div' 2 team without a pot to piss in.
And then win, lose or draw, you go home feeling a bit warm inside,(which might be the dodgy pie)that you've seen some honest football amongst real fans.
It has more and more appeal the more I think about it,even if half the time I'll be looking at the Hammers score on my phone..
I see your point but I cannot get excited about it and really would not give a s**t about who wins which would make it all pointless for me.And then win, lose or draw, you go home feeling a bit warm inside,(which might be the dodgy pie)that you've seen some honest football amongst real fans.

Realistically, who are we going to get to replace Allardyce? And it would have to happen as soon as the season's finished if we want to sign any decent players as who is going to join a club when the managers future is properly in doubt? Although, as has been said by various people, the Dave's are probably going to stick with Allardyce until at least the OS move as they know he will pretty much guarantee keeping us in the Prem.
Here is the survey on SA's future if anybody wants to take part - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/F6HN5LJ
I think that surveys etc are pointless.
The owners aren't going to sack the manager based on the results of any poll, they will be well aware of sentiment as they hear the unrest at the ground/online etc.
Presumably there were benchmarks that have/haven't been met this season (so far) that will determine the future & in any event and as we're aware we have owners that are loyal to their managers, wrongly or rightly and aren't likely to give someone a buddle of cash to fk off.
As I said earlier unless circumstances enable a change BFS will be in charge next year.

I'm seriously thinking of getting me and the lad a ticket for Dagenham and Redbridge for the coming season. 300 quidish all in for the best seat for me and him combined, rather tha paying a grand to be bored stless every week.womdering why on earth I'm bothering.
The football's more honest, and they need the money a damn sight more as well!

The whole point of lower league football is the joy of terracing.
Been talking with my wife (Liverpool supporter) a lot about the BFS debate. She’s of the opinion that he’s got us promoted and appears to be keeping us in the premier. On the other hand I point out that the fan’s unrest is because we aren’t scoring goals and there’s no plan B. It often said we were doing better without Andy Carroll and I’m sure this was because it forced BFS’s hand into using other players. Personally I’d like to see Vaz Te, Carlton Cole used as a big bloke, little bloke combination. I’d also like to see Ravel Morrison back and Joe Cole used more as skill players through the middle of the park. I could easily see a team with all four of those playing and dropping Nolan, Carroll, Downing and Diame. It’s an interesting debate – it’ll never happen of course under Fat Sam but what are your thoughts?
