Another year for Fat sam
And the bizarre thing is that one of the goals and the sending off came as a result of attacking on the floor through the middle. Not lobbing it into Andy Carroll. But what do I know. p.s. Who collates these stats? I just can't see how Spurs have had more possession.

Good stuff, enjoyed that, don't care how the goals go in so long as they do.
Well on top from start to finish; pity we couldn't get a third goal though.
Didn't expect to beat spuds 3 times in a season - decent way to finish at home as well.

No idea where that performance came from after the dross for most of the season. Good performances all round the pitch, wasn't negative at anytime, never let them settle ,and if it wasn't for Llorris if could have been six or seven.Tonka,Nobes,Demel,Downing were outstanding (glad he broke his duck but that wall was a disgrace,70 grand a wekk and they're scred of the ballFFS?).Diame worked for the team, and it all just gelled, which makes some of the other performances all the more mystifying.

Had an amazing day yesterday, still recovering now
As said above such a shame we can't start every game with that grit and determination.
Did anyone from here go in Duke of Edinburgh before or after the game? I heard this yesterday but don't know if true as not from a reliable source?
Apparently it's closing down, shame - another one bites the dust. At the end of last season we lost the pie & mash shop 'Duncan's' and obviously trade will slip when we go to Stratford but tbh I thought the pub owners would have cashed in on another season?
As I said before it could be a load of nonsense and I hope it is, really enjoyed it in there yesterday

Sam's email just came in. This bit is interesting:-
Players that can handle the ball and more importantly deliver in the final third are vital. Our 14 clean sheets this season is the best I've ever had and that was a massive goal that we've achieved.
If we can add a bit more flair and finishing power then we should be looking to finish in the top ten or better next season. We've got to entertain the fans and play the right kind of football.
Do you think he heard us?

There's hope, it could also be a signal to Ravel Morrison that there's a place for him. Players that can handle the ball and more importantly deliver in the final third are vital. Our 14 clean sheets this season is the best I've ever had and that was a massive goal that we've achieved.

RM was at the game on sat & tipped for goal of the season so presumably will be at players awards on tues night as well.
Being in the championship seems to have kept him out of the press for a while so hopefully he'll have got his head down, got playing time etc - sent a pro WH tweet last week as well.
That being said I'm sure his name will be touted again through the summer by the press/agents etc; hopefully it'll all be bks and he'll be in starting 11 again soon.
Not looked at premutations but could RM and Collison potentially face each other at Wembley in play-off final?

I see the Mail has decided BFS is getting the sack on Sunday after the City game. One assumes if they're right they'll blow their trumpet and if not it will quietly be forgotten.
Anyone heard any more on this story?

I read this rather contrasting article in the Standard, not sure he will be going if they're already planning the squad overhaul with him:
http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/west-ham-...
West Ham could release seven players as manager Sam Allardyce looks to improve the quality of his squad for next season.
None of the three players acquired on loan in January — Italian pair Marco Borriello and Antonio Nocerino and Colombian full-back Pablo Armero — will be offered terms to stay, while four players from the senior squad are set to go.
Midfielders Joe Cole and Jack Collison and full-back George McCartney are unlikely to be offered new deals when their contracts expire next month, while former France international Alou Diarra looks certain to leave Upton Park despite having a year to go on his current deal. Matt Taylor, another player whose contract ends in the summer, is likely to be offered a new deal.
Allardyce has been impressed bythe 32-year-old’s contribution as a holding midfielder, with West Ham winning more than 70 per cent oftheir matches when the former Portsmouth and Bolton player has been employed in that role.
Allardyce is looking to sign as many as eight new players during the summer, with a striker his top priority.
One player the West Ham manager will be keen to keep at the club is New Zealand defender Winston Reid, who is understood to be attractinginterest from several sides including.
