Can't agree there. I think RM has/had the ability to be every bit as good as Best. Watched second half of the game against Schalke - utter tedium but we won on pens (some good pens taken as well). Kouyote & Poyet looked ok though. Didn't see yesterday's game but it sounded crap & apparently someone lobbed a pint of lager over BFS as he headed back to the coach
We've now lost AC, Demel, Diame, Morrison and Jenkinson to injury and Valencia's unfit.
Scrabbling around for another striker.

Surprised he's not already had a spell at WH as he seems to like a to move about a bit. Not a player I particularly rate & not a £10m player by any stretch IMO but given how the team's set-up he'd fit in well.

Thought he'd (Crouch) ruled himself out as he wanted Champions League wages & stoke want a decent transfer fee for him. Hard to believe 12 mths on we're in the same situation as last year scrabbling around for another forward.
