The guy's a problem waiting to happen and it frequently does. What if he gets found guilty of "woman-beating" yet again? My guess is that as that would be his 3rd conviction he'll get a short spell inside. No one wanted Joey Barton at the club and yet to me this guy seems worse. Get shot I say.

His hearing's 28 Aug (I think) so I doubt anything will happen before then.

Glad the bid was rejected, we don't need to risk spending a big chunk of cash on someone who performed for a few games at the end of last season. Saying that, he's going to bang in 20 goals this season now.

Dunno, I quite fancy the lad (as they say in football) he got 9 goals in 17 appearances for Wednesday and had represented England at every age group up to U21. With some coaching from Teddy Sherringham I reckon he could be a good one for the future.

I'd rather see Elliott Lee be given a chance - age wise there's only a couple of years between them; Lee's already known at the Club and van come on as impact sub.

Wickham's not an AC replacement/cover, i'm not a crouch fan but he would fit in well.

Ah, he's the one we offered £3.5m for which was accepted and agreed terms with the player. Then we backed out of the deal and said we only wanted a loan deal so Metz complained to FIFA. So no it looks like we've backed down and are going to buy him after all. Typical West Ham cock-up
