I assume the crowd were fairly hostile towards BFS at the end?
Not many left to make much of a fuss - cleared out after the third goal.
It was like the final whistle had gone when the 3rd went in. Never ever seen a stadium empty so quickly after that!

He simply didn;t take a chance by commiting to the run 'til after the cross was delivered, he's always reactive rather than proactive.... and of course there was teh usual first touches off the shin and the two clearances into the upper Alpari....
Pretty hopeless as usual, Zarate was really disappointing as well - marked and muscled out every time he got the ball.

Would've been good to see Sakho get a run as he looked ok on Tues and it was stupid to give so little time to Valencia.

French, 1 cap for France.

recently spent the whole season on loan at West Brom, 31 appearances and 4 goals.

His older brother used to play for Newcastle.. well I say play.. he never made a league appearance for them just in the Europa League.

Can't see the point of this signing; assumed that he was a defender but believe that he's a midfielder - we've lots of cover in that position (aside from wide) but light at the back. Matt Everington's been training with the Club - not sure whether he'll get a short term deal (assume that it's not too late to sign unattached players now).

He could be a very good player if it wasn't for this minor failing:

Lacks vision.
Always tries to beat one too many players and fails to deliver the killer pass.
Disappears up his own arse.

He'll be decent for a couple of months before deciding that he wants to be elsewhere.

Scored a great goal for us against Arsenal in 2012. Since then hmmmm.

Shot himself in the foot with many fans by saying he wanted to join a top 6 club.

Played well last season against spuds, l'pool & the arse (from memory) - unsurprisingly all "shop window" type games; to be fair to him though BFS insisted on playing him on the wing though, which was stupid. Doubt he'll be missed now though as we've pretty decent selection of midfielders.

The stage is all set for Diame to score against us then... always happens with players we let go of.

The deal specifies that he can't play against us,I'm led to believe.
