Curbishley? Unlikely at the moment I would think.
Very good!Joking aside as a sub to bring on AC is quite an option.

You lot were great today, A+ for effort and determination, although your woodwork certainly played its part.
I don't mind losing (to much ) when it's been a good game but that long haired tt of a fan of yours gets right up my nose.
If Katy Perry offered me a shag I'd turn it down soley on the basis that he'd been there first.
Mind you, you can't help who supports your club ( thinking of Liam )

...can't help thinking 4th is nosebleed territory for us & it will all go wrong at some stage.
Are you guys all too young to remember '86? I remember that season we were still in with a shout of winning the league with only two or three games left in the season. I still believe one day I will see the Hammers improve on a best ever of 3rd place - you've got to keep believing...

mind you I'm sort of having to keep an eye out on them as my step-son is a fan - ahhh the innocence of 'youth' (he's 24)

Hey I remember 64, 65 & 66. All great years for WH,I remember that season we were still in with a shout of winning the league with only two or three games left in the season. I still believe one day I will see the Hammers improve on a best ever of 3rd place - you've got to keep believing...
For me 86 turned on the away loss at Anfield.
Gutted I missed the match as I was away but i saw most of it on tv and it looked like we were pretty good value for our win. Remember when Allardyce said he could manage Real/Barca to success if he had the tools at his disposal? Could be an interesting transfer window in January if we are in the top 6 mix and the Daves fancy strengthening further. It would appear that now would be the time to do so...

Steady on mate, not sure that we've depth of squad for Europe!Cracking game though; I missed the LPool game so this one made up for that.
Appears Sakho's likely to miss stoke though - shoulder injury & out for a week at least and maybe a bit longer.
Should also add that they've still not tied up a new deal for Reid so resolving that or finding a replacement/cover's essential IMO.

On the subject of signings, what's the score with Alex Song? Is he on a try before you buy deal or can Barca ask for him back?
I think the loans for a season with no recall (as is Jenkinson) but don't hold me to that. Whether we can afford him and whether he wants to stay / we want him to at the end of the year of course remains to be seen! DG on twitter has alluded to the Club having the opportunity to buy a couple of times.

you cannot fault any of the new players; Song, Amalfitano, Valencia and Sakho. [/footnote]
QPR fan here. I won a couple of tickets to the West Ham Man City game and took the wife.I thought all four of those guys were immense.
Song was particularly impressive - breaking up play, picking up the ball from impossible situations, holding off two or three players setting up the next attack. Then the other three just going off on doing maze-y bombing runs. Very hard to defend against.
Made the first 20 minutes of the QPR Villa game look very agricultural in comparison.....
Great game, great result for you lot.
Still can't believe what a difference a year makes. This time 12 months ago you couldn't get a goal. Now look.
