Just got back - enjoyed that; started well, conceded, went a bit flat then kicked their arses back to Wales. Pity we couldn't get a fourth though.

AC looked excellent throughout but Song was immense, Sakho also strong when he came on.

"Barcelona we're coming for you."

COYI!!!

Just got home, looking forward to MOTD! It was quite odd going in to that game expecting to win to put us third. This is the best I have seen us play since I have been a season ticket holder. I know it won't last, but credit where credit is due, Big Sam is a man of his word and if he has the right players he really can coach a team. I was really impressed with Jenkinson today bombing forward, I thought Cresswell got a bit excited on a few occasions when he was in a good position but overall we deserved the 3 points.

There's one in Stratford as well wink

I have a meeting at the White City one tomorrow though, I hate driving down the A40 in the morning so I'm not too happy about it.

Edit - Whoooooosh, I guess bad company was talking about the OS hehe

Very much this. When we went behind I knew we'd score. Tactics spot on as well taking Valencia off at HT.

Looks like Jenks has done a hamstring again which is annoying.

The difference being that this season the squad is so strong BFS can call on last seasons first team fullback as jenks replacement .

Well, I can well remember the 1985/86 season and having checked we actually had a poor start and didn't hit 3rd until game 23. So, never before in my life time... eek

Boring though, third round's about playing teams we don't normally.

That being said FA Cup record against them is actually very good.

Last game before we lose Sakho, kouyate and song to African cup of nations, fk knows why they can't play that out of season is beyond me. fking fifa.

I saw at halftime that Paddy Power were giving 9/1 on Carroll scoring next so I whacked a cheeky £20 on and the bet came in. So I'll throw a fiver on this with some of the profit I made.

Would you like a calculator for the expected winnings on that bet? hehe

I think we will probably finish up around 7th but at 1000/1 I fancy a £10 bet.
