Agreed with the subs today,Valencia can be very lightweight at time, and he doesn't gel with Carroll like he does with Sakho.

it was a good train journey back to be fair, we sang most of the way and berated our right back (can't remember his name) for kicking the ball out where he did instead of launching it up the pitch. As soon as he did that I knew Gerard would score.

We appear to be releasing lot of players from the Dev' squad today.

From what I read on twitter last night it appeared to be pretty much a wholesale clear-out with the majority of the squad axed - maybe a shame but, Dan Potts aside, none of the others have made an impression and several (Lletget in particular) seem to have been around for a few years & look no closer to the first team. Hopefully those that go find new clubs.

It's been a while since the Academy's produced anyone of note, which is a shame.

Couple of decent younger prospects in there at the moment though so fingers crossed.

I have to agree but the guy has so much talent is seems such a waste. I really wanted him to succeed at WH.
