Only from what I've read in the past (and present) - I understood that DS has the majority but that DG & KB have always backed BS; DS not being as keen on him (of course this might all be ill-informed nonsense biggrin)

Well one things for certain, being West Ham, it'll all end badly and we'll be in a relegation scrap at the end of next season with the added pressure of facing the first season in the OS as a championship side biglaugh

I'd laugh if it didn't have a 50:50 chance of being true hehe

Does BFS want to stay though? He knows he's not popular with the fans, similar situation to Pardew at Newcastle. It wouldn't surprise me if a Northern club, struggling in the league, someone like Stoke, Hull, or Sunderland came calling he would happily depart, saying "Job done, aren't I great."

He also knows WH would be taking a huge gamble replacing him a year ahead of the move so is in a strong position to play hard ball over a new contract. I can't see him accepting a one year deal, he would want 2 or 3 years on another mahoosive salary.

The impending move really has muddied the waters with this situation.

Like most on here I see no reason for us wanting Sam to leave. We have done well under his management BUT as already posted he may well fancy a move back 'Up North'.

If he wants to go perhaps Moyes would be a good choice.

Would rather that we'd concentrated on finding some defensive cover as attacking has (generally) not been a problem this season. Still, if he can show any of the form he had at PSG he'll be an interesting option.

That is what happens when you try and defend a lead by changing fking tactics, again. We did everything right from 10 minutes in until 70 odd. Although Noble prob had to come off (and was lucky to be on the pitch anyway),Nolan was an obvious swap fro him,but FFS Cole coming on? It meant no pace through the middle,no out ball and us defending deeper and not pressing the ball up the pitch anymore. If not Nolan, then surely you'd keep Sakho through the middle, and bring on Demel or O'Brien and push either Jenks or Cresswell in front of them and play the same way as we were?
Was a bloody great save from the pen as well, 5 minutes stoppage time ???

30 seconds for each sub = 3 mins plus a couple for players on the floor.

The west ham players seemed to be down feigning injury at every attempt .
