I spent my entire way to the airport fiddling with it yesterday, the beta 2 works best for mobile and iPad! I'll miss the match today but I am not really too bothered.
I found with that one that you couldn't jump to the last post - takes you back to conversations about dean ashton not being fit.

No it seems to work pretty well for me. I was quite annoyed at first but got used to it pretty quickly. My dad doesn't like change though, he rang me last night specifically to moan about it hehe

hehe

I'll try it again - not holding out much hope (that applies to the game as well).

Season over chaps, down to 11th place and 47 points. Can't see us getting anything against Newcastle with them needing the points so I reckon that's that.

Ah well, Europa League starts in July, treat it as pre-season friendlies for the new manager, with new players and renewed enthusiasm. laugh

st end to a st second half of the season, fking robbing scousers again ffs - is it really that hard to keep hold of the fking ball for 30 fking seconds at the end.

Don't think we picked up enough bookings to avoid the tin pot trophy so looks like we'll be starting the season again in kid July ffs, least defending like today should see us out before the Premier League kicks off though.

The ref was st - they have been all season (pretty sure friend fked us in another game) but blaming the games ref after conceeding a last second goal's pathetic.

OT but walked to the offie & saw a Nissan Cedric in JRG cool which made me smile.

edited to add that my earlier post post-game seems to have vanished?

To be fair to him his record isn't that bad - promotion at first attempt (albeit via Play-Off & w/ presumably one of the largest budgets in the league at the time), PL finishes of 12th first season back up & 10th last year.

Presumably we'll finish somewhere 10-12 this year which will be disappointing given where we were at Xmas though, however if offered mid-table at the start of the season we'd probably have muttered & accepted, subject to a cup run biggrin.

He made a mess of the cups last year, particularly the surrender to Man City. This season's post Xmas slump & the conceding of last minute goals this season has been extremely poor and some of our signings have been utter ste (he's not entirely responsible though).

Shame really as after the games against liverpool & cittee this season it's all fallen away after a very promising start; Saturday was pretty much the final nail though IMO & the crowd flooding out as yet another last minute goal was conceded said it all.

Forget to mention on Sat - cheers to Carlton Cole who's presumably off; always an Iron.

Silly thing is, it's probably the must stable period we've had in the premiership with 3 mid table finishes . It's just a shame he's just such a decisive character, not particularly likeable and so negative tactics wise .

Yep & it wouldn't take too much to sort the issues out; there was a brief period in the lead upto to Downings' goal on sat where we looked decent again, just to inconsistent at the moment & very lightweight once we've scored - odd that it's a reverse of where we were a couple of seasons ago when he'd made us much harder to beat & we actually held onto leads.

I haven't read any English news for a few days and now I'm back I've just seen in the Standard that Rafa Benitez is odds on to be our next manager! I'd be very happy with an appointment like that!

Be a good appointment; assuming he's given a long deal & cash to spend. Whether S&G can persuade him/pay him remains to be seen given has other potential options, plus we've probably not got enough players in our squad at the moment to keep him busy wink

Sitting with my 12 year old lad in a hospital room today after him having had an op on an injury that's kept him out for 11 months. Trying to keep his spirits up, the conversation goes like this ...

Where was we 3 years ago today sunshine ?
Er don't know Dad?
Ok, I'll give you a clue, it was our best moment so far since we've been going together.
