In what will now be called the East stand,( which will be opposite side to the players tunnel) as close to the halfway line as we could get (rh side of block 234) at roughly the same height as row BB in current Alpari where we are now. We chose this stand because there's no corporate boxes, so it'll be filled with 22,000 home supporters, and hence should be a decent atmosphere, and it's also the right side for Stratford station getting in/out. Would have liked to be in the adjoining block to what we got, which would have been bang on the halfway line (where we are at the mo'), but due to the 1966 seats taking up space, others have taken the dead centre ones.
There is some truth in not everyone getting an equivalent seat for the same money as they have at moment ( ourselves included) but it's not far off,and it's not gone up, so can't really complain.

Just having a look at the Sky Sports Transfer Centre (yeah, yeah – I know! ) and it says that Ogbonna is due for a medical in the next 48 hours but more interestingly, it also says that the club were prepared to activate the £21.4 million release clause in Carlos Vela’s Real Sociedad contract

He turned us down flat though, by the sound of things

Looked him up - 51 goals in 136 appearances for Sociedad; before that he'd scored 14 goals for 5 different teams from 2005.

For not very much from what I read. Held his hands up while a group of their players ganged round him and one went down like a sack of spuds. Ref must have seen enough to think he pushed someone.

Oi! What's wrong with Sunday league teams? The only time I ever needed stitches was when I got whacked in the eye during a Sunday league game. And it was the linesman who whacked me not another player! No diving in those days!

Impossible to see anything of the Sakho incident, people said it was play-acting by the Lusitanos player but you can't see from that video. Elliot Lee took his goal very well and it looks like a reasonable penalty claim turned down. Lusitanos had a goal disallowed, presumably for off-side. And that's about it...

He did, then they loaned him out to us for another season for £2.0m. Hopefully we may be able to negotiate a deal during the season. I imagine he signed as a "thank you" to Arsenal for his time as a youth.
