Telegraph are saying it's so he gets his own proper pre season and that we're still in the market for another striker.

Need another body, whether that's Austin or another - guess part of the problem will be how we plan on setting / starting opportunities up as to attractiveness of the move. Sakho clear first choice now though assuming fit.

Nope; highly rated by Tim Vickery though who's usually pretty spot on. Notes that he might be lightweight though - another Pablo Barrera maybe.

Watching the game against the Maltesse(sp) last week lots of crosses were going in from wide - only person on the field with any chance of getting near any of them was Reid

Excluding youngsters & Valencia (as Club classes his as a forward) Lanzini will be the ninth first team midfielder. Move for Song seems to have gone quiet as he's injured; Diarra still mentioned but apparently there's a massive buy-out clause from his current club.

Presumably at least one or two will move on before the window closes.

Sadly he's proven that we can't rely on him / wait for him. Sakho aside our other options aren't reliable / experienced.
