No real story, both of them have come out and said very positive things about each other.. and Noble has said he couldn't understand the stick Nolan got, thoroughly undeserved,how he'd learned so much from him as a bloke and captain.

Assuming Jenkinson re-signs for another season as rumourred that will be another decent one. Hadn't heard about Moses - any legs to that?

Thanks, that's what I read and took at face value but on another forum they are are talking about a "bust-up" between him and Bilic in the way people like to stir it.

Antonio confirmed - struggling to keep up with incomings this window, all decent signings (so far) and depth of squad looks much, much better.

Surprised that no one's left today so far as assumed that Amalifitano would be off plus maybe a couple others.

Adebayor isn't possible on loan now though, as we've got our quota.There's talk of tearing up his contract and us getting him on a free as we're still keen, and then as he'll be a free agent it can be done outside the window.

After the all change for me non-event deadline, what's the current status with Andy Carroll ?

Much to admire about his style of play but, he appears to be a tad fragile which is both sad and unfortunate. Maybe his previous selling club were aware of this. Yes, I have both a suspicious and analytical mind.

I have posted here that I like to see London Clubs victorious over Northern clubs. Goes back to the early 1960s when colleagues from satellite northern branches of my firm had a spell at London head office where I worked. I still feel that way especially when up against those teams from the major cities in the North West such as Liverpool..

So imagine how I felt a few days ago... Three-Nil... What a turn up! My cup runneth over. There, I've gorn all biblical again ...

September 12th for more PL action ... bit long to wait for impatient me... Still, will have another favourite sport to keep me interested over this coming non-PL weekend... Monza ... The Italian GP.
