It's certainly been an odd start to the season. http://www.theguardian.com/football/who-scored-blo...
Squad looks much, much stronger now though - looking forward to Monday night.

Anybody know if AC is available for Monday?
Chairman's referenced him a couple of times on Twitter this week suggesting maybe the bench. He's training w/ first team now as well. I suspect that he'll be on the bench but will play no part - maybe see him against Norwich in a couple of weeks. bad company said:
Great stuff, particularly from Payet and Moses.
I enjoyed that one. Some great touches from Payet aside from his two goals! It's nice to see some ball players in the side now. I thought Kouyaté had a good game too. So 5th now with 9 points, not the way we'd have expected it but that'll do nicely. Yep, lovely atmosphere for once, and at last we have players who get you out of your seat. First home game we have played with width, Moses was electric for the second goal, the way he controlled a bouncing ball and ran at pace with it was superb.Payet full of sublime skill again , and it rubbed off on Noble who went past a player twice in one match ... Which like the Liverpool result I is another thing that hadn't happened in my lifetime til tonight .
Enjoyed that, especially the belting first goal from Payet.
Lots of positives with pace & attacking play - thought Moses was excellent on his debut (but should've come off sooner as he looked totally knackered).
Defence still looking a little suspect & Toon probably ought to have scored in first half.
I was surprised to see AC on for a cameo, assumed he'd stay on the bench, would've been good to have seen Antonio towards the end of the second half to add more pace & pressing for a third goal.
Also good to see a little colour in the car park for a change

Shame I couldn't be there, love a good game under the floodlights.
Have to say, Payet looks absolute class - I'm not sure we will be able to hang on to him long term. He's very composed on the ball, both finishes required a very cool head. Moses looked a bit ragged towards the end, but it was a great debut. And to think we actually have a couple of decent attacking options that didn't even get on the pitch last night.
