I think, given the circumstances (and not having actually been to the match to see for myself), a draw was a good result today. Glad that Valencia is back. Do we know how long until Payet is back?

It was, but failed to take chances again & that continues to cost us at home.

Think Payet will be late Jan/early Feb, Lanzini hopefully next week for Swansea game.

Good save from Adrian and then a clear penalty to them as well that we've managed to get away with. Antonio's first touch looks awful, he also should have slipped Zarate in a while ago instead of trying a shot. Good to see Valencia coming on.

It was the lack of quality that we showed in possession and our poor ball retention throughout that pissed me off.

That's a fair comment BC. Payet,sakho,lanzini,caroll,Moses,all missing from an attacking perspective, Reid also missing , Song and Valencia still not able to do 90 mins.

Agree on injuries / missing / attackers etc but ball still given away cheaply by experienced players and (zarate) again wasted decent opportunities, plus adrian's distribution was terrible at times (made a couple of decent saves though).

Having thought about it for a couple of hours defence did look very solid & tommo stood out again at RB. Song had a couple of good moments in the second half - his reverse ball was class. Valencia also looked encouraging.
