Jesus, that was painful, fking freezing as well. Pint in hand now though.
A bit of a battle that one but 3 more points in the bag. I thought Antonio showed some nice skill not just for his goal. Payet was a little quiet but always reliable on the ball never seems to waste it. Lanzini made less impact. Overall we rode our luck a bit but with either side hitting the woodwork and Defoe missing a few it could have been 3:2 to either team. Anyway, sometimes you do have to be able to win ugly. p.s. there didn't seem to be any reaction to Allardyce at the beginning, not that came across on TV and at half-time he was signing autographs for a few fans.
Not to worried about Saturday's game - it'll be different in the evening; plus there were changes that I don't think he'll make tonight.
Presumably Antonio will fill in at RB though so maybe:
Adrian
Antonio, Ogbong, JC, Cresswell
Kouyate, Song
Payet, Nobes, Moses (?)
AC (?)
Emneike wasn't great on Sat so AC maybe to start, Moses for pace at the start w/ Lanzini as sub.
Looking forward to it.
