Was at the clubs new training ground today fitting a TV in the canteen. Still very much a building site but will be a fantastic facility when finished. A few pics: the last one is Slavs office.

Heard that he was injured yesterday, hadn't realised it was that bad.

Well 2 injuries in the squad may not be too bad overall. Anybody heard an update on either yet?

From what I've been reading everything else seems tied up with other players moving about (or not).

So he had a testimonial that raised £500k, he's had a fixed term contract on full pay and now he's 65 he'll be getting a pension from the club. I guess there's always ways to spin these stories but frankly that's not bad is it?

Made redundant, but agree doesn't sound well handled at all particularly considering his long service - by post apparently, and a £14,000 pay off (although he had testimonial in 2006

Realistically, he went ages ago, soon as Westley appeared. The Academy was stuck in its ways, and wasn't producing. Although his man skills (even with the coaching staff) leave a lot to be desired, Westley is results very quickly.
