It's so bloody refreshing after last season.
More pace, but more importantly much more movement. Although Song looks classy with his touch, and I still can't quite believe we havea player of his calibre, he does give the ball away or doesn't quite make the pass fit on the odd occasion..Like wise Cresswell's pass radar was miles off!
The front men's work rate was phenomenal, and if I'm honest if I was a guaranteed pick last year and out at the moment,I'd worry about getting back in.Nolan, Carroll,Demel and even Noble have all been replaced with players who have more pace and.
Lovely to see Greeno and Zamora getting such good receptions, and an absolute fking disgrace to hear the boo's for Nolan. Those s don't deserve a football club at all, let alone a Premiership one,and they know fk all about football as well.
QPR were dire, and very very unlike a Harry Twitch side.

Agree - thought Song was class; combo w/ Kouyate will be very strong - as you say leaves some work to get back into the team for some. I was impressed w/ Jenkinson & think that he'll be ahead of Demel now. Cresswell resorted to long balls far to often. AC will make a quality impact sub but at the moment he'd be well behind Sakho & Valencia to start.

Meant to mention booing of Nolan when I posted on Saturday - fking stupid; shame he didn't score to shut the tts up.

This has been going on for years and there is clearly a number of boneheaded supporters - Sinclair, Harewood, Boa Morte and now Nolan - stupid booing our own players and I hoped that it had finished but obviously not.

True but seemed particularly stupid in context of Sunday's game.

I would have happily booed titi camarer if the lazy fat lump had ever made it onto the pitch (as well as kiren dier of course) punch

But this was our club captain, pretty much our leading scorer for the past 3 seasons, who it's blindingly obvious has the club at heart, coming back from a broken shoulder.
You couldn't make it up,great fans at Upton Park? my arse

What was the reason for the booing? Have I missed something really obvious? I bet most of it was coming from the East Stand Lower, which is where I usually am - we seem to have the largest contingent of idiots!

Hard to tell where it was coming from where I sit plus the cheers/claps were much louder; presumably the only reason was that he (Nolan) was coming on (for Zarate - & it was the obvious substitution to make at the time). fking stupid behaviour.

HAH !
Hallo chaps, I recently joined P.H for motor purposes and have just seen an 'Appies thread !!!
I didn't think you petrol heads lowered yourselves to The Bootiful Game !
What is most gratifying is that there are more posts than on Scum's & Rent Boys threads and almost as many as "LVG's MANU" or whatever the Soccar Media call them now.
Anyway, instead of dwelling on KUMB, then coming here, I can kill 2 birds - get the car sorted and get my C&B fix ....On second thoughts, talking of "2 birds", after seeing Cockney Hammer's anal array today, I think I will keep reading KUMB too.

Anyway, COYI and let us hope the defeat of 'Arry's ex-Hammers and Assorted Mercenaries, was not yet another false dawn and that, indeed Sam's Way is the "NEW WEST HAM WAY"

So that's a no show at Turf Moor then and a resounding defeat. Lol.
Lord Rowley.

I can't go anywhere near KUMB, probably the most depressing forum I've ever looked at.

LOL.
I concur with that.
The funniest time was the "knicker wetters" calling for Sam, The Board, everyone to be sacked because of 2 New Zealand FRIENDLIES !
Many seem to want doom n gloom.
Maybe I'll stay here after all.
;-)

Black Can Man gets a lot of flack on the football forums, but he seems to me like a top bloke. He also has the best 5 screen set up to watch football on!
