Or McClaren, Moyes, AVB and Bilic.

Unai Emery for me, if I were choosing.
What's wrong with Moyes?
Too similar to BS? I'm not keen on him.

I just don't think you'd see anything Approaching entertainment under him (or AVB and to a lesser extent McClaren).

Bilic is revered at WH - for why, I'm not entirely sure. He was only there for a season and a half I thought? His record at Besiktas isn't too bad but it's hardly a hugely competitive league is it?

I just think Bilic would be an appointment based on nostalgia. That said, could you imagine him in charge with PDC as his No. 2?!? It would be carnage every week - especially if they had an argument on the touch line laugh
I don't get it either - hardly a legend for WH in his playing time. We're seemingly desperate to employ former players as managers which ended in expensive tears last time.

Phil Parkes has been scathing of BFS over the weekend, he didn't hold back!

He was on Talksport on Sun before the Boro - Norwich game & ruled himself out of the running then biggrin

I read that as well - he's been anti-BS from the outset.

Think that was only because he had a fuse blow on his Range Rover and couldn't get the drivers window down.

p.s. I think it was his style of play. To me he was very much in the Billy Bonds mould.

Nah, he was in the tunnel talking to the moose. Last time I saw HR he was in an S Class (driving himself) - looked like a poverty spec one.

The other name doing the rounds on some forums is Marcelo Bielsa. I know nothing about him but apparently "The Argentine appeared to bid goodbye to the French top flight after Marseille narrowly missed out on securing a Champions League spot"
Bielsa would always be my number one choice for manager. He's brilliant. Utterly and completely nuts of course. He always builds teams that are great to watch. Did I mention he's nuts? His nickname is El Loco.....

From wiki "Bielsa's signature formation in his squads.... is the 3-3-3-1 formation." scratchchin

hehe

I'd never even heard of this guy but a few of my friends have been mentioning him.

Likewise, although he coached the argies national team '98-'04 and Chile after that.

Not sure how well this would go down w/ the press though, given many of them support WH (again from Wiki): "Bielsa refuses to grant exclusive interviews, the press conference has become his preferred method of communication. He has been known to field every last question from the assembled media during these gatherings. If the talk turns to the intricacies of the game, a three- or even four-hour press conference is possible."

I would have thought that Moyes was the obvious choice. Now is not the time to be gambling on coaches with no EPL experience. A safe pair of hands is required I would have thought, with your imminent move to the OS.

Whilst that is indeed the case, if you think along those lines then the board should have stuck with BFS.

Is Carroll going to be back for pre season? Him getting injured coincided with our return to normality...

Might as well have stuck w/ BS as Moyes offers nothing different IMO - besides he's ruled himself out twice now (which presumably means he's waiting for a flight to London City Airport at the moment of course).

He appeared to be modeling clothing on a beach at the weekend from a tweet that I saw...

There have been some shots of him running though so hopefully he might be back soonish.

There have been some shots of him running though so he's likely to hurt something soonish
Edited for accuracy...

It might've been CGI or stock footage.
