Am away so can't make Thursday, but going Sunday .
Anyone know what time the Opening ceremony is for the Juve game ?
The email I have for my daughter says they are to be there for 9:45am until 1:00pm - I can't see the ceremony being much more than hour so I reckon it'd start around midday.

Poor result Thursday but as someone said, defo 'first' game feeling.

Went to London Stadium Sat for the first time to check out the new club shop and get my youngest some bits, great set up. Stopped at the ticket office on the off chance for Thursday (not signed up to claret member yet) and they was on sale - 2 adults and 4 kids - £40! bargain! COYI! I couldn't get tickets for last game at UP so first at LS is going to be a good memory (unless we lose!)

Bloody good businessman (and Lady Brady!) However Taxpayer will make plenty from the deal too - commercial on match day plus other events etc hosted at stadium.

Clearly there will be a lot of envy among supporters of other clubs however the comments at the foot of the CityAM article say it all really. Looking forward to Thursday. OOI for those that have been which tube station is best?

Seriously what is disgraceful about it? What do you see as cons to the agreement?
I see major Pros:
A 'used' stadium on a regular basis.
Regular income to local businesses.
Jobs
Continuing growth of area.

Major Cons:
£272m conversion cost (not a west ham fault)

Looks like a complex loan deal with no option to buy. Hope we have this one right & not Teves all over again:-

Dont remember seeing this mentioned anywhere - Alex Song gone to Rubin Kazan frown

I know he was only ever on loan and that he might have faded a bit towards the end but he was still a good player for us IMO.

Only what's on Wiki:

22 yrs old.

2013–2014 All Boys 28 (5)
2014–2016 Boca Juniors 41 (16)
2016– Deportivo Maldonado 0 (0)
2016– ? São Paulo (loan) 5 (3)

Quick Google brings up some positive stuff as well.

Presumably he's played w/ & knows Lanzini so he won't be isolated.

Yep, was on the pre-season tour; suspect that it'll be another season out on loan for him though given his age.
