Hard as this is for me to say, from what I've seen of both players, Shaw is a better option when fit in my opinion.
Shaw always looks unfit to me. Be interesting to see how well he comes back from a very nasty injury. sjc said:

What a night, Green street was rammed from about 12, As somebody else has confirmed police had us blocked in for about 40 minutes, I eventually got through the crowd to get in the Boleyn only to be told they had no beer and then police wouldn't let us out of the pub.
From what I saw most of the idiots were kids.
Hang on, you couldn't possibly know anything, because you were there FFS.From what I saw most of the idiots were kids.
The only people who really know what happened were those at home that saw it on Sky News and go on ttter you Muppet, now wind it in before that big post mortem after the night before starts alright?.It's people like you who say "what a night" when you were witness to 30 seconds of badly behaved bottle throwing by chavvy 15 year olds during a four hour party by 50,000 fans that give us a bad name.
Now fk off and stop backing up what I said, because you were there and so was I right??
Oh.. hang on....

Auctions for stadium contents & some fixtures/fittings now live:
http://www.whufc.com/News/Articles/2016/May/16-May...
Some interesting stadium related stuff in one of the later auctions - sure I could find a use for a set of fk off great logo'd gates; also some utter tat. Surprised to see that Nigel Quashie isn't listed, sure he's still in the treatment room
I want that Keep Off The Grass sign but have no idea why.http://www.whufc.com/News/Articles/2016/May/16-May...

I'm one of the most optimistic Hammers, Rich, but if Man Utd can't hold on to players wanted by Real/Barca etc, I doubt we've got much chance.
In a couple of years (if we actually keep building on this year) then we might be able to attract known top tier players but right now we will still be behind the established big boys - luckily we seem to have a good scouting network, so we may find a few more Payet's.

H67, do you do AV installation? Could potentially need your hope later on this year, drop me a line if you want to talk about several potential jobs.
Not exactly BM. I just do the occasional job for a mate who does logistical work for a couple of local AV dealers. I don't do any of the tech work, just help out when more hands are needed, some of the screens now are so big they're often a 4 man lift. mudy said:
Thanks gents - very kind. I can't beat a 1964 (what a great time to start supporting the irons!) but can only manage an 1984 - Georgie Parris, Ray Stewart, and then of course Mark Ward and the great cottee macavennie duo for our triumphant 86' season - for some reason settled then on the WSL - just a few seats down from the dugout.
Remember particularly Les Sealey (rip) banging the plastic siding and miming a cigar smoke when Ludo pulled off a phenomenal save at some point and hilariously Frank Lampard Snr sneakily stealing 'arry's chewing gum on a few occasions and never getting caught.
My last game (payet's amazing free-kick against Palace last season) me and my old mate sat in the chicken run right by the away supporters - best atmosphere I've been a part of - wish I worked it out before - that's the place to be!
Anyhow - let's hope we nail that elusive '£20 million pound striker' this season, ship out sulking sakho, keep Payet and all will be well (even if we crash out of Europe early doors again this season!)

Welcome! Great choice of seat (well, standing), I had a ST there for ages! Presume most are going on Thursday? Really hope we can turn it around, I didn't see any of the match but we sounded dreadful. He shouldn't really be resting any players IMO, we need to go for it and get European football for the first season at the Olympic Stadium.
