You guys have given yourselves a good chance of bouncing back with Holt in your team. I'm gutted to see him leave NCFC, he's been awesome for us. This whole deal seems a little strange to me, because we didn't need to sell him, and it didn't seem as if he wanted to leave, and why drop down to the championship when he could still be playing against some of the best teams and players in the world? I know his family relocated to Carlisle, but its Carlisle, not the moon. There's something that doesn't sit right about this whole deal with me, but, life goes on...
Looks like Coyle is doing a good rebuilding job up there.
First thought from a QPR fan. *sigh* that will mean two penalties and a red card when QPR play Wigan. Looks like Coyle is doing a good rebuilding job up there.
Holt did a great job for Norwich and is QPR's bogey man.

Very pleased with what I have seen of Martinez thus far. Had a superb game this morning against Juventus. Do you think you will miss him, or are you happy with Coyle?
As scjgreen said, he's made some decent signings and has developed a large squad, which we'll need playing 50+ games this season. We've won 5 out of our 6 pre season games too, and although it's only pre season, it isn't a negative.Just hope we can hold onto Maloney, McCarthy and McManaman.
I guess the only positive is that nobody will want to buy him now?

That'll be the end of swashbuckling football at the DW then. Not an appointment I would expect to spring us back into the Prem, let alone to run a credible European campaign.
So far, nothing has happened to change my view on this. At the moment Coyle looks like a busted flush, one of those Scotsmen who float around English football looking and talking tough but doing absolutely diddley to inspire his players. andyjo1982 said:

Maybe he's making a nice barbeque in his back garden but I'm not seeing any team building going on. The Martinex/Moyes/Ferguson reshuffle has helped one team (Everton) and knackered the other two. Jagielka's comments this week about Martinez being willing to listen to players 'which made a nice change' says a lot about the old-school Scots hard man approach which has surely had its day. We went through some poor spells with Martinez, but most of the time he thought of something that would sort them out. Coyle is just so hopeless and uninspiring. He has no plan B. 3-0 down to fking Derby in half an hour at home. I give up.
That fking derby who are now fifth, not like they are bottom.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
