The kids are in, nine squad changes!

Team: Pickford, Yedlin, Robson, O'shea (probably old enough to be a few lads Dad), Kone, Rodwell, Larsson, Lens, Watmore, Greenwood and N'doye.

Subs: Mannone, Jones, Defoe, Brown, M'vila, Honeyman and Khazri.

I suppose it doesn't really matter now but the officiating in that game was diabolical, criminal even, thank God we didn't need the points.

Me too. I just want us not to repeat the previous years and be down at the bottom all year.

Sam should give us some stability if nothing else.

He was always going to take the job if offered, as if he makes a success of it then he has a chance of going to a top team afterwards, rather than the relegation survival expert that he's become viewed as.

Don't blame him and he is exactly what the England setup needs.

My concern is that we have heard all that before and feck all ever comes of it. If he does go (I think he will) then fair cop, and I wish him every success, it's just that in my opinion the England national team has been a shambles that is packed full of absolute tossers on the pitch for years and will continue to be one for a long time.

Santone deal dead, missed out on Subotic as he has signed for Middlesborough and a manager who is on his way out of the door.

What a difference a few months makes, laugh

Gutted Sam has gone, don't begrudge him what must be a dream job for him. I wish him every success.

His signings in January strengthened the squad immeasurably, I only hope his replacement can build on it.

I might start watching England play again now the manager is someone with a bit character...

Good for Big Sam, not so good for you guys, but you can't really argue with him going. Did what he had to last season at your place, ie kept you up.

Who do you fancy from the available managers?
