Cadging a lift into town around 11:30am for a noon meet up with a couple of mates for Derby Day - some great football on today! beer

Predictions for the weekend?

I think it'll be 1-1. New manager effect and Sunderland falling asleep in the last ten minutes.

I'm obviously hoping for 7 in a row...
Could you let me know what you think the lotto numbers will be this week? biggrin

Not being able to bury one of the maaaaaany chancesmade today will haunt us come relegation time, mark my words.

WBAs goalie should get a decent bonus after that performance, he played a truly impressive game, a total blinder, sadly.

Should deduct it for blatant time wasting from early in the first half , saying that he'd probably been instructed by his jumpy jack of a manager , cannot stand the bloke.

Considering your 'keeper was yellow carded for repeat time wasting at St James's, that's pretty rich wink

Three wins from the last few games or we are doomed I'd say.

Ergo, we are doomed, lol.

Win: Maybe we'll stay up.

Draw: Maybe we'll stay up, but we almost certainly won't.

Lose: Doomed - my favourite word for this thread!

One point behind Norwich with a game in hand and much better goal difference, are we going to pull off the great escape again?

Really pleased to see Watmore back and even more so that he scored.

Watmore is like lightning, I'm glad he is back too.

Hopefully some revenge against the Gunners this weekend after they diddled us in the FA Cup and league last time around.

Home turf advantage will hopefully help us on our way, but with our rivals fixtures I'd settle for a draw....

Norwich have a rest week and then the Gunners away and Newcastle are away to Liverpool, I can't see either of them getting a result and we're a game in hand against what now seems to be a truly dreadful Everton, three draws and four loses in their last seven games (revenge needed there, too!).

We need it, especially with finishing like ours silly

Walcott is terrible, he steals a wage.

A woeful performance compared to our last few games, we were lucky to get a point, we certainly didn't deserve one.

Hot water territory now - oh noesies!

It's the Sunderland way...right to the death.

This will probably go to the last day of the season.
