So today was the day I was going to put a bet on Sunderland not winning another PL game all season.

That's Sunderland for you. 3 hours later they win.

We were shocking but for now that doesn't matter.

Hope is the worst! It's only one win and we have a loooooooooooooong slog yet.

Derbies next season? I hope so! I know we support opposing teams but I think both are great and seeing them both in the Premier League is a great thing, both sets of fans have been hard done by with st owners and management over the years though, it's a disgrace.

Your mob seem to have a handle on that now and I truly believe that Ashley will sell up if (when) you get promoted, his talk of regretting getting involved cemented that for me.

Alas, we are not yet off of that merry go round and relegation still looms large - it's worse than last season at the moment and that was a close run thing.

Boro can fk off and die though, they can call Newcastle/Boro or Sunderland/Boro a derby all they want but they know they aren't foolin' a soul.

laugh And two from a striker that we all pulled a face at.

Onwards and upwards....

Shame about the needless sending off.

Jokes aside, whoever brought that Papy mug in wants the fking sack, the club were mugged off, he is no Premier League player - fact.

Swansea and Watford are two of our next three games too - there for the taking!

Just a sham about the one in between them - Chelsea eek

Sorry, very remiss of me, I was at a wedding. Blouse wearing, mascara smudging Wendy. Does that help?

Where's Ray by the way? He seems to be missing in action.

P.s. Credit to Chelski tonight, another good showing for the little lad.

Not afraid to admit that the video of Bradley on Facebook has brought a tear to my eye. First class from Sunderland and Defoe in particular.

A bit scrappy but I'd take a few more of those all day long.

How we lost to Swansea is a mystery - that's the sort of result that will haunt us come the end of season, damnit.

United next, on boxing day too, beer

Merry Christmas all.

And a merry Xmas to you as well Ray and the rest of you poor, deluded, candy stripes as well for that matter.

Remember the only reason Santa wears red and white is because he's not real.

Actually I believe the reason he wears red is due to several marketing companies, like an old political magazine/publication called Harper's Weekly issuing drawings of him in various outfits - I believe some of the earlier ones were of him in a green or tan/brown outfit. The Coca Cola company gets mentioned as a key proponent in the change but that's not true - although they did widely circulate imagery of ol' Santy Claus in red of course.
