Here's what i emailed after the match to my BiL who I assume was at the game:

How did you manage to lose that?
You were the better team, they just had a very defensive plan and you never looked like scoring as a result.
And must be difficult playing with only 10 men and a spectator. Hope you're not paying Rusyn a wage, he's there on false pretenses.
You need a striker and someone like Clarke on the right wing. Every attacking move seemed to be a case of pass out to the left, to Clarke.
Jobe ain't Jude either.

Better luck against Stoke , then 'Boro.

His reply:

Young side without proper management. Rusyn is in one week and out the next. No good to develop but haven’t had a proper striker since Stewart.

He continually argues they're a young side but I don't think that's the problem.

Now Hull came to defend and that's what they did, 14 (IIRC) corners against their 1
Sunderland were a one trick pony, ball out to Clarke, if he beats the guy marking him, cross into a field of 10 orange shirts....

Beale gone.

Only slightly quicker than I thought.

Who's next for the hot seat?

Good riddance. I can't think of one positive with him in charge.
What was Speakman thinking of?

It will be Dodds until the end of the season.

I know, bonkers appointment to begin with! That's the play-offs safely avoided for this season then....

Has something happened behind the scenes? I know results haven't been good but seems bizarre to sack him so soon?

My mates a QPR fan, and did laugh when I sent him a message to say that Beale had been sacked.

Was the Hume incident on Saturday the final straw?

I think it was a number of things.
The players didn't like his training methods.
His substitutions (or lack of) were baffling.
It looked like Burstow & Rusyn played 'rock/paper/scissors' to decide who was playing.
The fans never took to him and he didn't help himself by saying daft stuff like 'they don't like my accent'

QPR fan here. The minute the rumour hit (from one of my QPR WhatApp groups) I got onto my colleague who's a Glasgow Rangers fan.

The amount of hatred for that man is quite something.

Sorry you had to go through that experience but fair play to your fans who saw straight through the lying scumbag from the off and just weren't having him.

Odious human being.

Beale is a car crash. Hasn't done his homework. No strikers AGAIN. He will be gone within 3 months.

Wasn't he reasonably decent at QPR (hence the Rangers move)?

He had a decent run at the start of the season and had the QPR sitting towards the top of the table. But, at the same time, was already tarting himself about. The one we all heard about was Wolves but here was at leas one more (Stoke?) before he walked out the door to Rangers. When he was cornered about the Wolves talks he said "I never met them" which is a bit odd as folks from Wolves later said that they had been "very impressed" by his presentation. Lying . There's pattern here; he's a very convincing presenter and is famous for seducing his audience with PowerPoint. Even I believed his patter at the start. Second pattern; it always sounds good at the beginning.

Any, back to QPR. Imagine our surprise when we all saw him in the Ranger director's box a couple of days before a crucial run of fixtures at a time when our form had begun to drop off. After that things went into freefall results wise and he was gone after half a dozen games. But, of course, after the Wolves incident Beale had blathered on about "loyalty being repaid" and all sorts of other st so when he actually did walk, taking some of out key backroom staff with him (the ) it caused chaos which we are still dealing with.

He made is a condition of his coming they we didn't sell three of our key players when their market value was high and before all the prices collapsed and he left us a couple of st over paid over the hill injury-prone journeymen signings plus some expensive loan players who downed tools for the rest of the season. We had to rush to find a new manager who struggled and was gone in the spring then take on a third who saved us from relegation but subsequently got fired for dragging us down into the bottom three with the worst run of results in the club's history.

In short, the shafted us soemthing rotten. He'd never been a No1 before we gave him the chance and look how he repaid us. He may be a decent No 2, I don't know, but as a No 1 he's a one man walking disaster zone. And a grade A lying .

We're currently outclassed by Arsenal but HTF did you get beat by Swansea?

Yes decent performance. The first 10 minutes were looking awful and after the penalty, it was like I was watching Brazil (well not quite biglaugh).

Got the message from my Dad this morning. Absolutely gutted.
