that extra striker is definately needed as Zamora is a spent force. was woeful y'day and the shape of the team improved dramatically as a 451 when he was replaced.

very scrappy win and we road our luck at times, but whilst we haven't found any great form we are churning out 1-0 wins every week until the formation is sorted and the newbies settle in. Brighton will be tricky midweek, hopefully they are knackered after Reading today.
Yep agreed, Zamora is off to the knackers yard, although I thought that some time ago and AJ has another injury, hopefully he'll go to Palace.

I have always rated Billy Sharp, never seems to have a problem banging them in at Championship level, but looks like it might be Adebayawn or Harry Kane, can't we just sign someone who doesn't play for Spurs!?

Ulloa on a three match ban. Excellent. The chances of another clean sheet have just increased.

In a word, no.

Prediction for Wednesday. Rangers find second gear and win 2-0.

Well that was a bit dull/frustrating.

Solid back four, plenty of possession, playing out from the back, midfield domination.....and that was about.

Charlie Austen stranded up front surrounded by yellow shirts.

Most tentative song of the night "We're top of the league".

Funniest song of the night; "Stand up if you can't sit down"......yes I know, I know but it WAS funny.

So another poor performance once we get to the halfway line...and another 3 points!

I wonder how long this is going to last - hopefully long enough so that we can get some attacking play sorted!

If that happens, the rest of the division haven't a chance!

Next week could be an all-time clean sheet record - 1-0 anyone???

Lacking creativity, shame Townsend went back, and a shame Remy is with the no hopers Newcastle.

Two strikers coming in apparently, Harry Kane and Carlton Cole?

not sure it will make a difference as Harry seems set on 451, which is fine but we need to get some of them bombing on to support Charlie. Went on Saturday and the Yeovil players were up for it against the 'millionaires' (quote from home fans as i was stuck in their end).

took a chance in resting Barton & Henry, but worked out in the end.

Much better display today compared to last week. Another clean sheet equaling a club record and more importantly another 3 points! Com'n U R's!

Oh and more than one goal scored!! haha.

Sounded like a great game.

Looking forward to next Sat - taking wife and kids, behind the goal at the School End for a change.

We played well. Sat back a bit in the 2nd half seemingly content with knocking the ball about.Niko Kranjcar looks very useful, lets hope we have him all season.

Barnsley on Saturday, I predict a goal fest 4 - 0

I was sat behind the Rangers goal at the School End and was a little disappointed at the lack of goal threat in the first half.

It was good to see Hoillet mixing things up in the 2nd half and Chevanton looked handy on the last 10 minutes.

Defence solid as a rock again. BAE showed some silky skills, Danny Simpson impressive.

Barton's set pieces very good again. Still struggle to really support him but he had another good game.

All in all, satisfying, if a little dull for the first 60 mins.

I think things will look more exciting when teams really come at Rangers - Barnsley were sitting back a lot, trying to soak it up most of the time. Restricted to weak long range shots on the odd occasion they had a go.

If only Remy would have wanted to stay on, him and Austin I think would have made a great partnership.

The team still isn't good enough for the Prem though, we need another centre back and another striker, BUT so far we're doing well to avoid relegation.

8th clean sheet is quite impressive, be interesting when we play the likes of Forest, Burnley, Reading etc.

I adhere to the theory that when some of the top teams come at us we'll be very strong on the counter.

BAE and Danny Simpson will be bombing up and down the wings.

Hoillet, Chevanton, AJ will be causing chaos in the box.

Ably assisted by O'Neil, Barton, Carroll, Kranjar and Faurlin.

(hopefully)

Enjoyed that. Met Tony Fernandes in the Bok before the game, saw Jenas score the fastest Rangers goal this season right in front of me and saw a very organised team beat Shteve's well-drilled Derby.

UUUUUURRRRRRRRSssss!!

Seems like he was telling others that it's lined up but that it may be linked with promotion.....

I just said to him "It's been a great season!". He replied "So far.....". Spoken like a true, healthily paranoid, fan.

My nine year old and his ten year old mate (his first game) thought it was great to meet the man himself and get photos.

We also ended up (just) on the League Show highlights.

So now I have successfully created a new 10 year old Super-Hoop. How do I tell him that next time we won't meet TF, we won't win and won't end up on TV?

All part of the education, I suppose.

Next up for me; Bournemouth. Evening game. Can't wait.

If Matty had scored that one the place would have erupted.

Lots of man points for creating a new junior hoop there AC, nice work, but I fear it won't last very long!

I thought we played well against Reading, they had a 20 minute spell where they looked capable, but we stood firm and only a 25 yarder was going to beat our defence, again I think Philips should have scored, they're coming I think and soon someone will be on the end of a hiding from us!

If only Remy would have stayed, he's scoring for fun for Newcastle, he has to be worth a £40m now surely biggrin

Playground pressure is strong....apart from my boy and his mate the other QPR kids have all suddenly become Chelsea and Arsenal. Not they aver go to games.....I blame the dads.

Performance are building nicely. The Derby game was an inch away from being 3-1. (which would have had us in 2nd place now)

Hmm....wonder what he's doing in January.......
