Seems like the clearout has already begun with Dunne, Ferdinand, Barton, SWP, and Zamora all leaving. I wonder how many else they can get rid off to ease the wages bill.
Massive relief to FINALLY get SWP off the books. Sad about Ferdinand's personal life but not sad to have him off the books. Part of the insane back five plan that lasted less that two games and left Rangers with the worst defence in the league. Dunne has been a hero but is getting on and is surely injury prone. Zamora the same. It was nice to see Barton thanking the fans but it's only a matter of time before he drags the club's reputation through the mud. Again.Good to see Les and Chris R pursuing a mix of youth and (affordable experience). It worked for Warnock...
OK so we didn't have much to cheer at the end of last season and we ended up where we deserved to be after some shocking displays. However, despite losing the opening game to Charlton and throwing away a decent lead to Cardiff we have started this season reasonably well (Cup aside). We have kept hold of Austin and Phillips and Chery looks more than capable of scoring quite a few.
So providing we don't get clobbered with a massive fine I think we might have a good season. I certainly think we will be top 6 and certainly wouldn't bet against a top two finish.
Am I just living on cloud cuckoo land or do you think this could be a good one?

I still think there's a lot going on in the background for it to be "the good one". I'm also still very sceptical of Ramsey. If we throw away leads like we did against Cardiff and nearly Rotherham, we'll be mid table at best.
I prefer us in the Championship, I get very fed up of paying to see us lose most weeks in the Prem. Still, having said that the financial gains from promotion and more than likely relegation parachute payments would be welcome for the fines we seem to rack up haha.

3 months and no posts on this thread!! Where have the QPR supporters gone on here??
So thoughts about Ramsey's demise and his replacement Jimmy F H??

Shame about Ramsey but JFH suddenly has them playing out of their skins. If they can keep playing the way they did against Burnley and Brighton then Rangers will start slowly moving up the table.
But having said that they are still over-reliant on Charlie. Even if he does stay they need another good striker. I thought JET was a good candidate but he seems to have gone out of favour as quickly as he came into it. Poulter has had so little game time I haven't got a clue. Mackie's been injured forever.
In any case (finances notwithstanding) I'd rather Rangers stayed down this season and JFH was given a chance to build something suitable for a sustained campaign next season and with a reasonable chance of actually staying up.....

We've borrowed Leroy Fer from you guys for our relegation battle...
I assume you are all laughing?
He's a decent player when he can be arsed. Just doesn't seem particularly motivated.I assume you are all laughing?
Four weeks on and he genuinely hasn't come up in any Rangers conversations I've had.
Oddly forgettable.
Went to the Birmingham game a couple of weeks ago and the Derby game last night. Two 2-0's, two dominant performances. Jimmy Floyd Hasslebank has got them playing out of their skins. Well, every second game anyway.
If he can get them doing this with more consistency, get rid of the last of dead wood over the summer and strengthen a few areas next season could be a lot of fun.

Well well. Big wins against Leeds and Cardiff and a win on pens against Swindon. Happy days.If he can get them doing this with more consistency, get rid of the last of dead wood over the summer and strengthen a few areas next season could be a lot of fun.
I week. 3 games. Three wins. Three clean sheets. QPR sitting 7th. I know it's a false position, but still.
Best of all, the first two games I've made this season were Sheff Wednesday on Tuesday and Villa last night.
Had a BIG night out down the Bush afterwards.
UUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRssssssss!!!!!!!

Thread revival to celebrate the 4-2 job done over Man Utd on Saturday.
Rangers kept cutting them right open, The whole entire squad probably cost about a quarter of Matic's transfer fee. Made him look VERY ordinary.
My mates a QPR fan and loved sending me the highlights of the game. You guys scored some cracking goals, and looked going forward. Rangers kept cutting them right open, The whole entire squad probably cost about a quarter of Matic's transfer fee. Made him look VERY ordinary.
As you posted, Matic looks very ordinary these days.

Even though a lot of that Man Utd team will barely make the bench this year, they cost north of £170m whereas the Rangers squad in total is valued at £30m and cost a whole load less in fees.
Gratifying to see scouting, training & coaching paying off.
