I'm here smile

Well done to Watford, should have had 10! but I can just about handle losing when Cardiff lost and Swansea only drew...

Some huge matches coming for the hoops now which may well determine how their season pans out.

Should be an interesting game on Saturday up at our place (ER). Hope we win it but given our defence I am not to sure.

Great to see the hoops still going strong with some impressive wins against Swansea and Coventry, 7 points clear at the top, come on you R's! smile

Think the division is yours now mate. Cardiff have been on a bad run, a lot of teams are too inconsistent and you guys keep on picking up points week after week so I can't see you losing it now.

Not too sure about that now that Newcastle have shown a keen interest in Adel Taraabt and without him we don't look the same, and why we've signed Tommy Smith is beyond me!

Should have beaten Bristol City though, Hulse wasted soooo many chances!

Need to sign some quality players this month though,,,,

Tommy Smith is quality - he just needs a good run in the side.

Don't forget he was the sacrificial lamb against Swansea, so the more games he has, the better he will get.

We will miss Walker tho frown

Yeah Smith is a good player and time will prove that as long as he gets a run in the team.

I don't expect Tarrabt to be going to Newcastle, afterall they have just signed Ben Afra on a 4 year contract and the two of them are very similar players.

We will definetly miss Kyle Walker, looks like Villa might be taking him on loan. However, there is a chance we could get woodgate which i think would be a great signing. Yes he has had lots of serious injuries but if he can stay fit he would be huge. On his day he is top draw and has a great football brain. Reads the game very well and that should help make up for his lack of pace.

We desperatly need a striker or 2! You never know though Hulse might find some form on the second half of the season? although i definetly don't think we can gamble on that. We are top of the league past the half way mark, we won't get this chance again!

I was hoping that QPR might sign some younger strikers, my thoughts were Aaron McClean and Craig Mackail Smith from Peterborough, always scoring, although McClean has gone Smith would be a good signing.

Maybe Jon Stead too, always seems to score, picking from the lower leagues seems the best bet, look at how well Morison is doing at Millwall, remember watching him when he played for Stevenage.

Walker will indeed be sadly missed, we need to sign a defender or two too, Woodgate would be good if he can stay fit, which is a BIG if!

Off to Ewood Park tomorrow, come on your R's!

The rumours around loftus road are Charlie Austin from Swindon who looks a decent prospect. Scoring record in the lower leagues is quality. He is 6,1 and a strong centre forward in the old english striker mould.

Not an impressive run at the moment and with Mackie out should we be worried? 11 points from the last 8 games. However 5 of those last 8 have been against teams in 2nd 3rd 4th 5th and 6th place. The fixture list for Feb and Mar is not too daunting and hopefully we can inrease our lead at the top. We need it as we have a tough end to the season. Away to both Watford and Cardiff and the final game home to Leeds.

What has me slightly worried is the fact Warnock has said no money is available for new signings and any signings are more likely to be loans which Warnock at the start of the season said he didn't want. Its worrying because we are top of the league, an investment of say 4 or 5 million would almost garuntee promotion which would generate millions. If the owners won't back Warnock when we are best placed to get promotion and we have the january trasfer window it kind of makes you feel like they are not as dedicated to getting us promoted as maybe we all felt.
Hopefully the new signing from Norway (Moen) will prove to be a success and fill Mackies boots. He is considered a quality player by people that watched him play for his old club in Norway but lets face it, the standard there is not like the standard here. I have a feeling he will do well though.

It's time to go on another Run! hopefully Hulse will get his shooting boots on and we can get some points on the board.

Looks like Austin will be going to Blackpool which is a shame!

Back to being 5 points clear with a narrow victory over Coventry is good, although wasn't too convinced with the performance frown

Was at the match last night, first half was simply awful, we were getting crowded by Portsmouth and seemed to fall apart as a result.

2nd half was better, first goal was a mess that almost didn't go in, second goal was better, but it could easily have gone the other way.

If we continue to play as badly as we did in the 1st half then we won't be top of the league for much longer.

I was hoping that Coventry would win last night I must admit biggrin Davies seems to have Forest firing on all cylinders, the rest of the season will be good, I just hope after us being there for most of the season, we'll actually go up.
