Do you call Blackburn "Dingles"? Cos that's what they call us (Burnley)

Good luck against the B*****ds, soften them up for this weekend
Wouldn't that be the following weekend? Although you can turn up this weekend if you want.

Not impressed with Quick Quid as sponsors, could be a very short lived relationship IMO. These companies have a lot to answer for but seem to be sponsoring a lot more teams now.

Their shirt sales might have nosedived hence the change of heart.

Well this hasn’t been used in a while. Regardless, if there are any Bolton Fans, does anyone else feel like it’s time for Parkinson to go?

What do you think about the supposed foreign investors? Any chance they may swoop in?

Just seen that Laurence Bassini is interested in rescuing Bolton. This is NOT good news. A choice between Bassini and bankruptcy is not a choice.

Good luck.

Same story down the road at Bury, a good season up to now but financial chaos left by the previous owner will probably bankrupt the club. Not sure why football attracts such charlatan types as owners so frequently.

Looks like the club could go out of existence as soon as Wednesday.

Absolutely shameful if it happens.

Today would have been Nat Lofthouse's 94th birthday - awfully ironic if this was Bolton's last day.

My heart goes out to Wanderer's fans and I would point you in the direction off David Squires cartoon in The Guardian today, it is quite compelling and hits the spot. He talks about industrial decline and civic pride and points out that these are more than football clubs, it ends with the prophetic line that 'if the pyramid burns even those at the top will eventually choke.'

I hope you come through this, too much history and too much heartbreak.

Made up company with directors being appointed and resigning at will with a registered office based in a building that just seems to be empty and used as an address for companies.

What can possibly go wrong?
