Completely agree, but a certain little red-haired genetic fault that has bigotry that knows no bounds has his problems to seek. Oh and not a footballist in any way, shape or form and proud of the fact.Too many bheggar apologists and too much bheggar over-sensitivity on this thread.
Personally I don't see anything even the slightest offensive about the words of The Sash as sung at Ibrox.
Have a copy:
"Sure it is old but it is beautiful, and its colours they are fine;
It was worn at Derry, Aughrim, Enniskillen and the Boyne.
My father wore it as a youth in the bygone days of yore,
And it's on the Twelfth I love to wear the sash my father wore".
Now tell me (especially our English brethren) what could anyone find even the slightest offensive about those lyrics?

I dunno about that figure.
At least 30,000 of them were Chelsea fans in Ranger's tops. You know, the ones that were REALLY causing the trouble.
Are you being serious? I doubt if chelsea could muster 300 fans who would travel up to Manchester when their team are not playing! At least 30,000 of them were Chelsea fans in Ranger's tops. You know, the ones that were REALLY causing the trouble.
I lived next to Ibrox for 3 years, rangers fans are either hateful bigots or glory hunters in denial about the cluns true nature. Maybe theres a few good eggs but theyre vastly outnumbered.

The lyrics are fine it's the bullets in the post and death threats that normal decent people find offensive !!!Personally I don't see anything even the slightest offensive about the words of The Sash as sung at Ibrox.

utter rubbish, Rangers fans are by and large a horrible bunch of scum bags.
Come on, you're not naive enough to think that there's only a scum element in the Rangers fanbase, and that Cetic fans are a bunch of loveable characters who go along to Parkhead every second Saturday and sing delightful Irish folks songs! There's scum, bigotry and hatred in every football club support, it appears more prevalent In the Old Firm support in Scotland as they outnumber the other by far.
What really gets me is the Irish flag waving and pro-republican support from Celtic fans and the pro-loyalist support from Rangers fans, most of whom have no connection to Ireland or Northern Ireland whatsoever. Throwing them into the English league system where the two teams don't cross paths as often each season can only be a good thing in my opinion.
We have spastics on both sides. They need to be dealt with by your own or you have deal to with the label they give you.
Saying that though, should we get into the EPL, at least we'll be allowed to bring a support to Manchester

A small minority giving an opinion in a peaceful manor? I don't agree with what they've got to say but all issues have two sides, and theres always going to be people on both sides of the coin. The green brigade didn't do themselves any favours with that but they're standing up for what they believe in.
The Poppy Appeal supports the British Army - if Celtic and their hordes of retards want to protest at their government they should pick on someone else (not dead servicemen (many of whom would have been Celtic fans). The scum that follow Celtic aren't bright enough to know who they are insulting - fecking morons !
ps - that's a fecking big banner - so small minority doesn't work for me.
Have you seen the size of celtic park? Thats one section in the corner, taken up entirely by the green brigade. if three hundred people hold up a banner amongst a crowd of 50,000 then thats less than one percent.

Get winning then ya greeting faced sheep shagger
Roll on Sunday, what should be the pinnacle of the season, a melting pot of excitement and trepidation. A battle of the mighty and the soldiers of fortune. Not life and death, something much, much more important.
...decided on penalties after 2 hours of mind numbing midfield ball chasing.
In all seriousness, if Rangers can keep from there kick everyone in sight and defend with 10 men policy, Sunday should be a proper, old school game. We're more than due it.
Mon the hoops!

I remember a few years ago in the final week or two of the title race, which rangers won by an insanely close margin there was a Scotland game and all the Rangers players in the usual Scotland squad pulled out for various dubious reasons only to play for their club a couple of days beforehand and again afterwards. All the Celtic players involved in the national squad dutifully played for their country and Celtic went on to lose the title. This wasn't a one or two players from each team, it was 4 or 5. When it comes to pride and honour the west side of Glasgow are severely lacking.
