Leave it running and we won about 5-1.

If that had been scored by a player from a 'BIG' club that would have been headlines everywhere

It was a great hit, however our CB Amat gave a master class in how not to close down and Vorm was about 5 yards too far off his line - if he had been in the right place that would have been a regulation tip-over.

Glad to take a point from you guys - we have never got anything from Carrow Road in previous seasons!

Thank you Mr Hughton but in the the words of Andrea Bocelli "It's time to say and good bye".

Please fk off Chris. Got a strange feeling we will beat Palace tomorrow though even with that Muppet in charge.

Why is he still here?

PS: Any reactions to our dismal loss to fulham yesterday?

He's about 3 months overdue the sack, I was there last night - it's rare I feel embarrassed at a match but last night was one of those times. Fulham weren't even good, they were st and anyone else would have wiped the floor with them.

It's basic st too, they have 2 incredibly immobile, massive centre backs, yet we try to play it over them rather than round them? Elmander up front on his own? 2 inverted wingers again when you have a striker who needs quality delivery? Snodgrass insisting on taking every set piece when Fox is better? Hughton just doesn't have a clue.

As long as he keeps us out of the bottom 3 his job is safe according to the Telegraph today. I would like to see Malky Mackay take over. I don't think we are playing that decent football and think he will freshen it up. Everything seems so negative under Hughton.

The club seems to lack ambition, we should be targeting the top ten, not just avoiding relegation. What sort of message does that send to the players.

They made the same mistake the last time we got promoted then came straight back down again. I remember Delia saying the club was working on the assumption we would get relegated and structured the clubs finances accordingly, which was fine from a survival point of view, but surprise surprise, we were relegated..

The Football League is littered with clubs that wanted top-ten finishes. Broken dreams, broken bank balances.

Be realistic please. Family-friendly club, doing its best. What's wrong with that? A bit of success now and again, just to lift the spirits, but no aspirations of permanent glory. Pointless, the club can't sustain it.

Tell that to the supporters who pay week in week out in the hope of seeing their team play good attractive football, and trying to win games and not just trying not to lose.

Norwich are lucky to have such a loyal fan base, unlike our Suffolk rivals, we don't want to lose them.

I'm sure ML is alluding to the fact you were getting 24k averages in the early-00s, but now are about the 17/18k level. Likewise our 26k / 98% capacity in L1 and sell-outs ever since is all well and good when we are going well, but we are already seeing a drop off in away support and the fear is it begins to reflect in home crowds. Hopefully not as we have a sizeable waiting list for STs, but when the quality of the entertainment is as poor as it has been.......?

Anyway onto today. It could well be D-Day on Hoots. Or it might not. I cannot help but think it is too late to change now, unless there is a replacement lined up and McNally has not made any noises to suggest that is the case. Sack him at 5pm today and we easily could find ourselves in a Terry Connor / Wolves type of situation. If we stick with CH, like everyone else, I'd just like to see some fight and spirit in the camp, rather than him continually talking up the opposition and losing the game before we even kick off.

The irony of football... We could win today and lots of supposed 'fans' will be unhappy.

Sort of agree Darren f.

I think there is a little more to it than that though. All sort of factors like the economy, a run of poor managers etc.

Think your lot will survive?

Yes, Darren is right.

I remember watching them with attendances of 12000 in the old division 1, when Ipswich were winning the football league with full houses and competing successfully in Europe.

The club have been transformed over the last 15 years or so, it would be a shame to see them slip back from where they are now, but some individuals seem to lack the ambition to want to do better. Staying out of the bottom 3, which in our case means 17th, is setting your targets way to low in my opinion.

It's a real cop-out, but I really do not know. Any 3 of the bottom 11 could go. My major concerns are 1) our lack of form / real confidence in the last calender year (apart from some 'dead rubber' games at the end of last season), 2) the fact that others around us are strengthening in the TW (Jelavic and Long at Hull are great signings IMO) and 3) there does not seem to be any rumours we are addressing the problem positions that we currently have (CB, creative midfield).

Something needs to change, the obvious answer is change the manager, but that just brings with it a whole load of other issues. But how do you get the confidence back otherwise?

ML you are right- I was not impressed by McNally's comments in the week. Last season we were 'looking to be an established top-10' team, but now keeping out of the bottom 3 will be seen as a success confused

Well we got a win today so hopefully the team will gain a bit of confidence.
We are 12th now but with our run I think we will need to be at least 15 points above the bottom 3, come 5 matches from the end of the season
