Norwich were the better team, just had a bit of quality, but I'd say both goals had an element of luck, the first hit Berra's heel and fell perfectly, otherwise it'd have gone straight to Chambers, but that's how it is.

No arguments, I thought we'd lose 3-0 and it wasn't far off.

Sears was very good and Ruddy made an incredible save from him (quick thinking) and goals change games.

I'm no rose tinted glasses wearing blue, it was a close game, but the quality Norwich have just shone through, and with the players you have, you'd expect that.

12 games to go.

So Norwich didn't cheat for the win this weekend then?

All teams/players cheat these days. It's part and parcel of professional football. Some do it more than others, nay are encouraged to by their manager. These are known as "hard" teams - we all know who they are.

I'm not a fan who cannot see wrong in their own team, but by today's standards, City are a fair team compared to most. It's something we have to live with - personally if I was a ref I would book anyone shirt-holding, arms round waist etc, then send them off for second offence. If the match was reduced to 3-a-side by the end, so what? It's time to teach 'em all a lesson. Make 'em look stupid, push the point home, and all that.

Refs can't though - "bringing the game into disrepute". Rant over.

Can't disagree with anything said since the game really.

Your lot had a bit more quality (and with the money you've spent on your squad that's inevitable).

You seemed to be able to string decent passes together as opposed to us.

No complaints really, just disappointment.

Well, my optimistic "possible 9 points" was the Kiss of Death. Best keep my thoughts to myself.

As Alex Neil was given "Manager Of The Month" for February we will put Wednesday night's blip down to that. Our good run had to come to an end sooner or later but didn't think it would be against Wigan. Let's hope we can begin another great run again on Saturday and get in to the two automatic places.

Cracking win today. Was a little apprehensive following the midweek result but Alex Neil asked for a reaction and got one.

1 point separating the top 5 now, I can't remember a Championship table run-in being this open for a while.

Massive game against Derby (who seemed to absolutely capitulate today!) next Saturday.

Watford deserved that win today - Middlesbro looked out of sorts. Let's hope they stay that way when they visit in a fortnight's time.

If Bournemouth slip up, any win today will put City top on goal difference. Alex Neil was a good signing, no doubt about that. I thought the slide down the table a few months ago might be too much to overcome, but he's really put the side's morale right up there. I really can't see us not being in the playoffs, at the very least.

OTBC!

Another great win today and 3 more points. Now up in to the automatic promotion places. Lets hope we can stay there until the end of the season.

Brilliant result for us and others helped us a bit. Looks like the top 4 teams will remain there and compete for the top 2 places and the teams from 5th to 8th will scrap for the last 2 spaces. What a finish its going to be.

Possibly the most important game of the season coming up. If we can beat Middlesborough then our last two games are very winnable and we should be at least be in the automatic promotion places. Not taking anything for granted though. If we slip up we may end up playing our neighbours from Portaloo Road in the play offs who have an equally important game tomorrow at Wolves. If they beat them I think they will get the last playoff place and if we finish third then we will play them in the playoffs.

What a game to pick to fail to turn up for the first 20 mins frown From there on it was siege time but we didn't have the quality to open them up. The time wasting and injury feigning by Boro (aided and abetted by a weak ref) was galling, with such cynicism they'd fit right in up in the PL. Though we have to accept they could have been 3 up before we started playing so we really have no excuses.

Not giving up yet obviously but if today's games go against us it is better to know it is the play offs with 2 games to go rather than experiencing the last day disappointment scenario. Then do we go all out and not care, or do we get 'selective' in where we want to finish? All conjecture of course, but I'd fancy us against our blue friends down the road over 2 legs, but a 'one off' at Wembley less so. You just know we'd concede in the first 10 (.... see Wigan, Boro) and then they'd 'hoof-ball' us to death for the next 80.

No need to rub it in laugh.

I listened to the match on 5 Live whilst working, and knew at half-time what was going to happen. You can just "feel" it with some matches.

There are kids starving in Africa, they reckon.

Weak ref? You had that at Vicarage Road! Good to see the cheating Hooluhan booked for diving. 7 minutes of injury time was added...

Even as a Canary, I'll agree that he's the Ashley Young of the Championship. But he's just being "enthusiastic" - he's Irish.

I would say that a ref that calls a physio on before a player goes down injured is falling for all the old tricks. laugh Fair on the Wes' dive at Vicarage Rd, you boys had a dodgy sending off at our place early in the season too ISTR. But it 's all swings and roundabouts over a season I'm told wink Given a choice I'd rather you boys go up instead of Boro, should we meet in the PO final there's no way we'd get lucky 3 times in succession against you! And if you think you get more than a fair share of dodgy decisions against you, just wait until you play in the PL, swings and roundabouts doesn't apply to the big teams!
