Another under whelming performance against Burnley and another defeat. I do feel that Dean Smith's time at Norwich should be curtailed. The performances have been very poor recently.

After just managing to beat Swansea we have reverted back to normal duties and rolled out yet another poor lifeless performance against Blackburn. Dean Smith came in with a remit to stop us rolling over so easy and be harder to beat, yes we enjoyed good football under Farke but every time we hit the premier league we stunk it out with no idea how to defend and stop better teams playing, I can see why the club wanted to try something different but this experiment cannot go on any longer.
Webber made a fool of himself when mocking the "20 fans with a bedsheet" and tried to say the 20000 season ticket holders showed he was doing a good job, maybe he should of tried sitting in the stands and getting opinion and he would of likely been told just because you bought a season ticket did not mean you were happy.
In a few months time we will of failed to get promotion, be back to the tired line of having to sell players to survive, all the talk of building up the club during the last 5 years is nonsense. We have granted got better training facilities but every other aspect is failing. Poor bloated squad, clueless upper management, Delias cronies continue to infest the boardroom.
Our 2x high value wingers (raschica and tzolis) get sent out on loan when the best option would of been to play them this year to build up confidence, McLean gets awarded a new contract........He used to be an OK championship player but looks way out of depth in the premier and this season is awful yet we award a new deal....baffling. We got promoted and sold our best player (buendia) what other clubs act like this on promotion. Goes right back to Ed Balls new contract to Alex Neil just after we got demoted, the Jez Moxey farce, everyone we pay off at boardroom level always get the non-disclosure not allowed to speak out for extra pay off money.
For the money we make on player sales, season ticket sales, promotions and parachute money to now be back where we started just shows that Dean Smith is not the real problem, we have an incompetent boardroom, a terrible owner, a smug director of football.
So disappointing as I feel we could be so much better with better management. Rant over, but I cant take much more of this and the enjoyment of following them week in week out is fading fast.

The board have appointed David Wagner, well Stuart Webber has. Not my choice, I would have liked Mark Robins as the manager or head coach as they seem to call it these days. Doing a decent job at Coventry aside from yesterday's FA Cup result. Not sure how much influence Wagner will have on the team today for the game against Blackburn. Still I am prepared to get behind him and hope he can improve our situation. It's a very tight league and a run of two or three wins can have us back in the play off positions. Also a run of poor results can see us heading for the relegation places.

WTAF? Three goals before half-time? This isn't the City we know and love. Steady lads, calm down.

PS is this the first time in City's history that they've scored 4 goals away from home for 2 successive matches?

We’ve got our team back smilesmile Some of the football we played was much more Norwich-like, compared to the insipid rubbish under Smith. Next up Burnley, now that’s going to be the real test as to whether we’re PO contenders or not.

We have the definitive answer to that one smile

Yep, very much ‘business as usual’ it seems… irked . We could be 12th by the end of today, given the crazy nature of the Division this season. Gotta look to win 4 or all of the next 5 to get back in the mix. It’s the hope that kills you….!

Just seen the highlights and I think it's time for Krul to go. He's been decent for us a couple of seasons ago but makes far too many errors now. His distribution is dreadful. Hopefully Angus Gunn will be back between the sticks before too long. I never expected much against Burnley being honest. They are by far the best team in the Championship. I feel we will struggle to make the playoffs this season.

I don't like the perpetual misery of the PL but I had expected losing in a play-off game. Finishing 13th puts me in dread of next season. If we start off with a couple of poor results I can see relegation issues. Playing pretty stuff and having all the possession doesn't win games in the toughest league in the country.

I think being seriously worried about next season is the sensible option right now.

It's going to take some good recruitment to move the current team forward and if that doesn't happen we'll be looking down and not up ...

Here we are 4 games in the new season and we sit 2nd. Still unbeaten and in the 2nd round of the Carabao Cup. Wagner seems to have got the team he wants. I thought we would miss Pukki but Ashley Barnes seems to be filling the gap well and Jonathan Rowe has scored in every game so far. The new signings are gelling well and some the original players are seemingly playing better. Placheta seems to have improved and I wasn't a fan of Idah but he seems to be doing well so far. I don't know how long Josh Sargent will be out for but hopefully the team can cover that loss. It may put Leeds off from trying to buy him now in this transfer window.

An absolutely cracking start to the season. There is a real sense of excitement about the squad.

My lad saw his first home game (against Millwall) and he’s now hooked. We live in Lincolnshire, so don’t get there too often, but FIL has a season ticket, so often get to see some games.

It's not looking good just now. Wagner doesn't seem to be able to motivate the team and his team selection is dire. We seem to have no plan B and his use of substitutes is poor. I feel it's time to bite the bullet and get rid of him. The team is sliding down the league at an alarming rate and what most thought might be a season pushing for promotion is now looking like one avoiding relegation. He wasn't my choice as coach but I was prepared to get behind him but now that has gone. We have a new Sporting Director coming in and maybe he will make the decision to relieve him of his job. I don't know who to get in. Mark Robins was my choice when Dean Smith got sacked but also Paul Warne, the Derby manager is a lifelong Canary supporter and he would be another possible candidate.

How long is Wagner's contract? Can you afford to get rid of him?

Can Norwich afford not too is more relevant I would say.

Not sure what I think to be honest, not helpful when the crowd aren't backing the players though, that's for sure.

Confidence is shot....on paper, your team is still decent.

I think when supporters start leaving before the end of games your time is probably up as a manager.

It could turn out my dream scenario this season. Leicester and Leeds go up automatically, we meet and beat Ipswich in the playoffs and then lose the final to Southampton. No PL (hooray!) but misery for the Tractor Boys. Great result.
