Holt won't. So happy to beat a team with that scumbag Marlon King in it.
From what I heard he was lucky not to get sent off too.
WHAT.A.WIN, We are on a roll. 3 wins on the spin, 5 out of 6, there are gonna be a lot of twists and turns to come, we now have a squad capable of sustaining a challenge at the right end of the league. To think we were missing out 2 regular centre halves, Leon Barnett and Elliott Ward, the replacements, Nelson and Whitbred come in and keep our first clean sheet in 10 or so. Drury comes back from injury and makes some crucial blocks too. We made QPR look very average today and we should've scored 4 or 5 today.
I'm sure we have extended highlights on the football league show tonight, so if you just like watching good football, 11 men giving their all for their team and 25,000 passionate fans, tune in and see what the fuss is about.
Paul Lambert also got it tactically spot on today as well, good work fella...

We f'kin love Grant Holt!!!
He's the man. Great to see Norwich finally ditching this tag of a 'nice' team. Sheff Utd must have come off the pitch on Tuesday thinking 'cheating bastds!'. We're a tough team and we can also play good football, crucially we are also now seeing the 'rub of the green' too!
Great win, QPR were outplayed - Tarrabt.. who?

Always had a bit of a soft spot for the Canaries and that was strengthened last season by their attitude when they came down to our place (twice) last season.
Took League One the right way by coming down and getting on quietly with the job in hand of trying to win promotion at the first attempt. Pleased for them that they managed it - completely the opposite attitude of some teams that have found themselves in the third tier. Coincidentally, those teams didn't make it back up at the first time of asking.... connected?

Cheers fella! I learned not to take anything for granted when we got relegated from the Prem in '94 and we all thought it was a bit of a laugh and we'd storm back the following year. An opening day defeat to Grimsby dampened our spirits and 10 years later we were still there.
Stunned by our performances this season but it just goes to show a decent manager can make a team much greater than the sum of it's parts. Someone pointed out the other day that the team that beat QPR away consisted entirely of players who were plying their trade in League 1 last season.

Probably going to cause an argument but having spent six years in League One, I've seen yourselves, Leeds, Leicester, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton all play at our level. You and Leicester both got promoted first time round and you were the two out of the six that seemed to treat us as equals rather than give it the "billy big balls" attitude. Forest learnt after two seasons down and Charlton aren't too bad either.
Edited to add: Had the pleasure of interviewing Jeremy Goss for our programme and it was a joy. Nice guy, very grounded, still works for the hospitality dept I think.

This is genuinely brilliant, isn't it? we're 3rd in the league, and I'm starting to believe that top 6 is the minimum we'll achieve this season. i think QPR's form will wane as we progress, Cardiff's may pick up and Forest are a good bet for top 2, but I think we're one of 4 clubs who really can blag a top 2 finish.
It is a hell of a ride, 'tis true. What amazes me about us this season is the way we've coped with injuries - virtually every replacement for an injured/suspended player has come in and done a great job, often after not having played for months. Seems to be a real togetherness to the whole squad.
The prospect of doing something special seems more of a possibility with every game, but it could still go horribly wrong - remember Leeds were something lke 12 points above us at this stage last season.
I'm crossing my fingers and just hope we keep playing with the spirit we are at the moment.

Slightly concerned with the signing of Wilbraham, not quite the quality we need but it seems we might be bringing one or two more in shortly.
If any of my fellow Yellas are shareholders you may have seen in the most recent set of accounts that there is now a more open door to further / outside investment. When you consider some of the clubs that have been bought of late its about time there was a little extra loot in the club.
To be frank I was rather hoping for another share issue to bolster Lambo’s promotion push, the last two raised around £5m in total so another two of three mill would really help get us up, having ‘ The Anointed One’ as manger and all that
Oh yes, this helped warmed the heart ate Boro earlier in the week to the tune of the animals came in two by two
He scored 3 goals against the scum, Grant Holt, Grant Holt
He scored 3 goals against the scum, Grant Holt, Grant Holt
He scored 3 goals against the scum,
And Wesley got another one
Super Grant Holt, Norwich's number 9
