Yesterday you quoted that the free kick was a blast, now it's a pre planed strike as stated by your good self above.

Secondly if I'm slow one why am I still waiting for you to reel off a list of players names that can get the ball up and over a wall from 18 yards, (the main reason for my reply to your post in the first place)

If not please inform me with your superior footballing knowledge of what other alternatives there were on offer other than to blast it or is it a pre planned strike.

Well either slow or deliberately avoiding my point. How much clearer can I make it? Yes, pre-planned, strike, blast, kick...whatever, and as to the list of players, well you can keep waiting, that was simply my suggestion to what option might be available. Who knows? The point is that it appeared to me that the chosen method to score for Stoke was to pull someone out of the wall to make a gap. Cheating. If you find that acceptable, that's fine. I don't.

To be honest, what makes me laugh is that actually, before watching the West Ham game I quite liked Stoke City. Liked the way they were making waves in the Premier (not being a fan of a Premiership team). I even started THE Stoke thread (yes, Hammer67, your's actually isn't the first!!) to celebrate their result against the scousers.
Sadly, despite what you might think about the phenomenal support for the Potters on this thread, my one went quiet before even a page was filled, I think.....

Well played today, they 2nd goal killed us. Barton certainly wasn't responding well to the banter, his diving around was silly, but the coming together with Fuller was unnecessary on Fuller's part.

That free kick was a screamer though!
