Just caught up with MOTD. Vorm is getting awesomer by the week - what a keeper (and not just the pen)! Never a pen btw, the defender was stood still.
Dreadful refereeing (again). How we ended up with a higher foul count against Blackburn and now Fulham is anyones guess. It seems referees give no protection to teams who want to play football and fail to punish those who like to spend the match sneakily standing on people's achilles!Worst refereeing performance at the Liberty this season and that is saying something! At times I thought Dyer was the ball he was getting kicked so much.
And where did 4 minutes of injury time come from?
Still, say it out loud "we drew at home with Chelsea" and you realise how far we have come.

Was at the game yesterday, gave a decent account of ourselves but ultimately undone by a 9ft beanpole who gets paid £120,000 a week.
We are still fairly one-dimensional and take Sigurdsson out of the team and I don't know where the goals are going to come from.
Overall, a great day out and the away support was astounding - 100% better than the home support which was rubbish. Worth the entrance fee to see what must be contender for save of the season from 40 year old Brad Friedel when he tipped Siggy's arrowing shot onto the post - incredible.

I had a horrible feeling that would happen last night - an evening game at Loftus Road is no place to go when you are low on confidence.
What worries me most is, what the hell has happened to our defence? Where have our clean sheets gone? When was the last time Vorm pulled off an incredible match-saving save?
All these things were happening in the first half of the season.
We all know we have a problem with goalscoring but this was covered up with an impressive defensive record that appears to have capitulated in the last month.
Tense times.

fking bargain, 7.2 mill for potentially a world class mid. He will be worth 30 mill in 1-2 years pending no injuries.
Congratulations from a Norwegian Geordie.
Indeed! He is only 22 as well. I imagine if there is a buy-out clause in his contract is might be fairly eye-watering...Congratulations from a Norwegian Geordie.
Disappointed to say the least but think he is going to get a hiding at Liverpool. Not surprised in the least either given what my Watford supporting friend warned me of!
Oh well, no one is bigger than our club and I trust Huw 100% to find someone as good if not better than Rodgers.
Onwards and upwards!

Doubt gylfi is coming now. Horrible for swansea like, Gylfi and another creative player in and you could have fought for top-8 next season?
Now? Survival must be #1 prio
Yes, Rodgers has st on our Chairman from a great height given the efforts he went to get Sigurdson to sign. Now? Survival must be #1 prio
Given Rodgers previous I can see some of our better players (Ash Williams, Allen, Sinclair) jumping ship and then we are really in the poo.
The last three of our managerial appointments have been "gambles" on inexperienced managers - look where we are now.
I trust Huw and the board to get this right - Laudrup's brief will be to stabilise the club while bringing his own style.
Laudrup has the following experience:
- Assistant coach of Danish national team under Morten Olson
- Won the Danish double as manager of Brondby
- Managed Getafe in La Liga, taking them to the Copa Del Rey final and Uefa Cup quarters
- Managed Spartak Moscow but sacked
- Managed RCD Mallorca in La Liga and kept them from relegation (odds on favorites)

This guy pretty much single-handedly kept Rayo Vallecano on La Liga last season!Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
